TITLE: "God Will Complete What He Began"
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S)
Isaiah 61:11 (KJV) "For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations."
Philippians 1:6 (KJV)
"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:"
QUOTE TO REFLECT ON
"God never abandons the work of His hands; what He begins, He faithfully completes."
DAY'S REFLECTION
Life is a journey of growth, and God's work in us often unfolds gradually. Just as a seed planted in fertile soil does not become a mature tree overnight, God's plans for our lives develop according to His perfect timing. Seasons of waiting do not mean God has stopped working; they often mean He is preparing us for greater fruitfulness.
Isaiah compares God's work to a garden that causes seeds to spring forth. A gardener patiently waters, weeds, and nurtures the plants before the harvest appears. In the same way, God cultivates our faith, character, and purpose until His promises become visible in our lives.
Paul assures believers that God, who began a good work in them, will faithfully bring it to completion. Our confidence rests not in our own strength but in God's faithfulness. There may be setbacks, delays, or challenges, but they cannot cancel God's purpose for those who trust Him.
Think of a builder constructing a house. At certain stages, the building may appear unfinished, with exposed blocks and scaffolding. Yet the builder already sees the completed structure. Likewise, God sees the finished work of your life even when you can only see the process.
As this month comes to an end, thank God for every lesson, every challenge, and every victory. Trust that the same God who has brought you this far will continue His work in your life. Your story is still unfolding, and His grace is still at work.
MEDITATION SCRIPTURE(S) WITH FULL VERSES
Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV) "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."
