In the parable of the talents, the lazy servant buried his talent in the ground.
The Lord told me He does not want me to bury what He has put in me, but to bless others by sharing what He gives me. My main focus of ministry is toward other Single Men and Women. Yet, if I focus solely on them, I am actually robbing someone else of his/her blessing by not sharing what the Lord gives me. I want to be like the servant who his Master gave him 5 talents and he brought back 10 talents for His Master.
I am even willing to work with others who may feel they do not have the potential to do what I am called to do.
I had a pastor once say, "Why didn't the three servants get together and invest and multiply the total of their talents?" I think Jesus would beam with pride if His children pulled together and instead of just multiplying their own talents, they multiply the total of everyone involved, whether three or 3,000.
