DAY 3 – MORNING
Theme:BUILDING TRUST, ONE DAY AT A TIME

REFLECTION
When Your "Yes" Means Yes
Good Morning!
One Saturday morning in Accra, a husband promised his wife, "After work today, let's take the children for ice cream." The children talked about it all day. His wife looked forward to the family time.
When evening came, a friend invited him to watch a football match. Without informing his family, he changed his plans.
When he returned home, the children had fallen asleep, and his wife quietly said, "It wasn't the ice cream they missed most—it was your word."
That sentence carries a lesson for every relationship.
Trust is built whenever people know they can depend on your word. It is not the size of the promise that matters; it is the consistency of the person making it.
Our God is faithful. As His children, our words should reflect His character.

God's Word
"Let your 'Yes' be yes, and your 'No,' no." — Matthew 5:37

Today's Challenge
Keep one promise today that you might normally postpone. Faithfulness in little things strengthens love.

Let's Talk
What small habit has helped someone earn your trust over the years?

Prayer
Lord, help me to become dependable. May my family find confidence in my words because they know I will do what I say. Shape my character to reflect Your faithfulness. Amen.

Lewis Addai-Baah Marriage Nugget
"Promises are the seeds of trust. Keep planting good ones."

Remember:
In marriage, it is not about winning the argument; it is about winning each other's hearts.
May your home be filled with God's peace, your words seasoned with grace, and your love renewed every day.
