THE PILGRIMS GUIDE MONDAY JULY 6, 2026 BE CAREFUL AND REMEMBER A WORD FROM THE WORD: "Be careful that you do not forget the LORD your God, failing to observe his commands, his laws and his decrees that I am giving you this day." Deuteronomy 8:11 NIV. Spiritual forgetfulness brings about spiritual atrophy, on the other hand, careful remembrance preserves covenant relationship. There's great confidence that God gives you when you enter into His unknown, but this can only be realised as you strive to remember that you are bound by commandments, directives and instructions, and endeavour to observe and keep them. Forgetting God's commands rarely happens in a moment, it takes a neglected prayer, a compromised choice, or even a proud moment or thought at a time. But careful remembrance keeps the heart anchored in God and His precepts. PRAYER BULLETS: Father LORD, I pray You guard my heart from subtle forgetfulness. Help me to always remember Your commands to me,  not only with my heart, but with my obedience also.
