DAY 6 – MORNING
Theme: LIVING TRANSPARENTLY BEFORE
ONE ANOTHER
REFLECTION
Grace Makes Honesty Safe
Good Morning!
Many people are willing to tell the truth—if they know they will not be condemned for it.
A wife in Kumasi once admitted to her husband that she had made a costly mistake in their small business. She expected harsh words. Instead, her husband quietly held her hand and said, "We will solve this together."
Years later she said, "That was the day I knew I could always be honest with him."
Grace does not ignore mistakes. Grace creates an atmosphere where truth can be spoken without fear.
If every confession is met with anger, people begin to hide.
If truth is received with wisdom and love, trust grows.
That is how God treats us. He invites us to come honestly before Him because His mercy is greater than our failures.
God's Word
"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." — Ephesians 4:32
Today's Challenge
When someone is honest with you today, listen before reacting. Let your first response be grace.
Let's Talk
Has someone ever shown you grace when you expected judgment? How did it change you?
Prayer
Father, make our homes places where honesty is welcomed and grace is freely given. Teach us to respond as Christ responds to us. Amen.
Lewis Addai-Baah Marriage Nugget
"Grace is the soil where honesty grows."
Remember
In marriage, it is not about winning the argument; it is about winning each other's hearts.
May Christ fill your home with truth, grace and peace.
