How You Hear
Take heed therefore how you hear:……….. Luke 8:18 (NKJV)
It is not about what a man hears whether good or bad that affects his life but how he receives what he heard. It is response that determines progress, success, general well-being. Every information is double dimensioned carrying meaning from source and influence to its destination. Information flow is not just about content; the intent has a lasting effect as well.
It is positive response to what you hear and not the content of what you hear that determines your rising in life. Whatever you give your ears is what you have given your life to. The ear is one of the gates to the body that when opened to anything can make nobody out of a life. When you open your ears to right words, decent words, lifting words, encouraging words, you can't speak badly and you can’t live poorly. This is your day.
Wisdom Fountain: “The biggest communication problem is we do not listen to understand. We listen to reply.”
Prayer: Father Lord God, I ask for the wisdom to guard my heart and my mind. Give me the discernment to recognize Your truth and the strength to turn away from noise, gossip, and deception. Soften my heart to understand Your will, and let my ears be attentive to Your quiet, guiding voice in Jesus' name.
