WHAT DID IT COST TO FOLLOW JESUS?
Everything.
And I'd make that choice again.
I counted the cost... I laid down my old life. I walked away from the chains. I picked up my cross. And I chose to follow Jesus.
Was it easy? No.
Was it worth it? Absolutely.
"Then He said to them all: 'Whoever wants to be My disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow Me.'" тАФ Luke 9:23
The world promised happiness... Jesus gave me peace.
The world offered temporary pleasure... Jesus gave me eternal life.
The world left me empty... Jesus made me whole.
