Research on posture and breathing suggests that an open, upright posture can affect breathing and aspects of our emotional state—but some viral claims go too far. Simply raising your arms has not been shown to instantly pump substantially more blood to your heart or oxygen to your brain. ⚠️ NOT EVERYTHING SPIRITUAL IS FROM GOD. ⚠️ The Bible repeatedly warns God’s people against divination, sorcery, mediums, consulting spirits, and attempts to obtain supernatural guidance apart from God. 📖✝️ See Deuteronomy 18:10–12, Leviticus 19:31, and Isaiah 8:19. That means Christians should use discernment with practices centered on things such as horoscopes/astrology, psychic readings, mediums, tarot/divination, spirit guides, numerology used for spiritual guidance, reincarnation, manifestation as a spiritual power, and other occult or New Age practices. 🔮🚫 But an important distinction matters: not every item on a list is automatically occult in every context. For example, yoga can simply mean physical stretching/exercise, crystals are naturally occurring minerals, and the Enneagram is a personality framework. What matters is whether something is being used as a spiritual practice, source of supernatural power, worship, or guidance apart from God. ❤️‍🔥 We don't need another source to tell us our future. 🪟 SOMETIMES IT ISN’T THEIR LAUNDRY THAT’S DIRTY… IT’S OUR WINDOW. ❤️‍🔥 A young couple moved into a new home. 🏡 The next morning, while eating breakfast, the wife looked through the window and noticed her neighbor hanging laundry outside. She said, “That laundry isn’t very clean. She must not know how to wash properly. Maybe she needs better detergent.” 🧺 Her husband stayed quiet. Every time the neighbor hung out her laundry, the wife made the same comments. Then one morning, about a month later, the wife looked outside and was shocked. 😳 “Look! Her laundry is finally clean! I wonder who taught her how to wash it?” Her husband simply replied: “Nobody. I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows.” 🪟✨ Whew. Read that again. ❤️ Sometimes the problem isn’t what we’re looking at—it’s what we’re looking THROUGH. Anger can cloud the window. Jealousy can cloud it. Bitterness can cloud it. Unhealed hurt can cloud it. Our own expectations can cloud it.
