And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long are ye slack to go to possess the land, which the LORD God of your fathers hath given you? Joshua 18:3

The book of Joshua fundamentally teaches us on possessing what God has given. It reveals that that God has given you something does not necessarily mean you will possess it. You will need to take Scriptural steps and follow divine leading to possess what He has given you.
For instance, Scripture says by His stripes you were healed. So healing has been given, but you will learn to possess it when sickness attacks your health. God is not going to heal us, but HE HAS HEALED US. It is now our duty to possess what He has given.
Joshua teaches us that you must be prepared, determined and courageous to face every obstacle on your way to possessing what God has given you. There should be no tolerance, no going back, no surrender. You have to go full force to possess your inheritance. No slacking, fold your sleeves up, take up your courage and move towards possessing your blessings.
