THE PILGRIMS GUIDE SATURDAY JULY 18, 2026 THE GIFT OF BURDEN BEARERS 2 A WORD FROM THE WORD: "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2 NKJV. The LORD Jesus also calls us to be burden bearers for one another. He said, 'By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.' (John 13:35 KJV). One of the ways we show love is by carrying each other's burdens. When we do this, we fulfill the law of Christ, which is to love God and love your neighbour as yourself. (Matthew 22:37-40). Who are the burden bearers in your life? Take time to thank God for them and let them know how much you appreciate them. And who are the people in your life who need a burden bearer? Ask God to show you how you can be a blessing to them and share their load. Remember, when we bear one another's burdens, we are not only helping each other, but also honouring the LORD Jesus Christ. PRAYER BULLETS: LORD Jesus, I thank You for the gift of burden bearers in my life, who show me Your love and grace. Help me to be a burden bearer for others, as You have been for me.
