The law is still valid and is still very much in effect. It is only that the law is no longer in effect for the believer. The Bible plainly tells us that we are no longer under the law. We are under grace. Believers are not led by the law. We are led by the Holy Spirit.
Stop trying to lean on your own understanding of what you think the commandments are telling you the difference is between right and wrong. Jesus showed the legalistic people of that day just like we need to show the legalistic people of this day that they may think they keep the commandments, but they don't understand the full meaning of them or the impact on our eternal destiny. I guarantee you that you BREAK those commandments.
