I remember having to line up like this every morning and after every break at Crofton Junior School, Blyth, Northumberland, England before we were allowed into school.
The weather was irrelevant, we still lined up and entered one class at a time. Even classes 3A and 3B in the annex building had to line up. This photo was possibly taken in the 1970's , LONG after my own attendance at the school, but it shows me that nothing had changed !
My attendance was approximately 1956 to 1959.
The school has since been demolished !
