I hadn’t planned on posting this song on Lord’s book. But I changed my mind, due to recent post by Lurisha Benjamin, warning women with a calling to not treat marriage like a casual decision. You’ll find that here: https://lordsbook.com/posts/358731

Satan sees ahead and tries to trip up young people, especially those with a calling on their lives. I’ve seen it again and again.

I’d add to that, to not treat marriage as something that has to be done in a certain timeframe. And to be exceedingly discerning about your choice. My book and youtube channel called ‘Shattered Dreams Poetry’ speaks to the aftermath of a bad choice.
It creates long-lasting consequences for you, your children, grandchildren, entire family, and circle of friends.

It’s a constant dance of push/pull with someone who likes to play with your emotions, but will never do their part of a true nourishing relationship. Who promises all you’ve ever dreamed, then rips it away.

Pay attention when someone pushes you too fast, or wants to break your life rules, especially moral ones. Its a flashing red flag of their poor character, and lack of respect for you, your family, and God. RUN. FAST. DON'T LOOK BACK!

This song was for Missy, a young woman in the book series ‘Prepare For The End.’
Her mother died, and she’s never known who her father was, and was lost in fear and grief, breaking her own life rules, believing he cared. The local ‘player’ targeted her, while she was vulnerable. You’ll have to read the book series to find out how that turned out. She has some lasting consequences, and the entire family is affected. Missy loves music and writes songs. This was her song about ‘Billy’ the player.

Lurisha, thanks for being so sensitive to this subject, and offering a warning. My series is full of hurting people who didn’t heed the warning, and are now living in the aftermath of VERY bad choices. But God is good… and helps them, by surrounding them with those who help… and life becomes good again.

Wrong choices can be corrected. The sooner they are, the shorter the consequences.
