Acts 3:19 NASB
Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;

Acts 3:19 is a portion of Peter's 2nd sermon to Jews who had disowned Jesus before Pilate, even though the governor was prepared to release him. Yes, they needed to repent, that is, to change their way of thinking and confess Jesus as Lord.

The believer is in repentance almost daily, in that we grow. We continue to learn and renew our minds. That's repentance.

We don't worry about sin. Whatever is not of faith is sin, and we believers walk in faith believing we ARE forgiven. We are not walking around in sin consciousness. We move and have our being in righteousness consciousness because we have the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
