TITLE: "Blessed to Influence Others"

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S)

Deuteronomy 15:6 (KJV) "For the LORD thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee."

Matthew 5:16 (KJV) "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

QUOTE TO REFLECT ON

"God blesses His people not only to enjoy His goodness but also to become channels of blessing and light to the world."

DAY'S REFLECTION

God's blessings are always connected to His purpose. In Deuteronomy, God promised Israel that obedience would position them to lend rather than borrow and to influence rather than be ruled. This promise revealed God's desire for His people to become a source of strength, generosity, and leadership among the nations.

Jesus expanded this truth by teaching that believers are the light of the world. Our good works should point others to God rather than draw attention to ourselves. True influence is not measured by popularity but by the positive impact our lives have on those around us.

Consider a business owner who runs a company with honesty and compassion. Instead of pursuing profit alone, the owner treats employees fairly, supports community projects, and mentors young entrepreneurs. As the business grows, many lives are transformed. The owner's success becomes more than personal achievement—it becomes a testimony of God's goodness and a blessing to others.

God desires every believer to shine wherever He has placed them. Whether in your home, workplace, church, school, or community, your words, actions, and character should reflect Christ. As you walk in obedience, God will bless your life so that others may experience His love through you.

Today, ask yourself: Does my life point people to Christ? Let your blessings become opportunities to serve, encourage, and glorify God.

Genesis 12:2 (KJV) "And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing."
