Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. (Mt 5:25 KJV) Commentary Essentially, the scripture teaches of the need not to allow issues to linger; but ensure they are settled fairly, equitable, justly and quickly. When matters are delayed unforseen, avoidable situations arises; which may do more harm than good. Our takeaway therefore should be about speed , in settling with our adversaries.
