Essentially, the scripture teaches of the need not to allow issues to linger; but ensure they are settled fairly, equitable, justly and quickly.
When matters are delayed unforseen, avoidable situations arises; which may do more harm than good.
Our takeaway therefore should be about speed , in settling with our adversaries. We must learn to cut short our losses as much as possible; and in good time.
