Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. (Mt 5:25 KJV) Commentary Essentially, the scripture teaches of the need not to allow issues to linger; but ensure they are settled fairly, equitable, justly and quickly. When matters are delayed unforseen, avoidable situations arises; which may do more harm than good. Our takeaway therefore should be about speed , in settling with our adversaries. We must learn to cut short our losses as much as possible; and in good time. Shalom. 🙏🏼

PRAYER FOR THE DAY - ADAPTED FROM PSA 13. [1] O Lord our God? Will You forget your children in captivity forever? They have been in their kidnappers den for 46 days now. How long will You hide Your face from us, Lord. Hearken oh Lord; hearken to our cries? [2] Lord of Hosts, how long will the enemies exalt themselves and triumph over us? [3] ¶Consider and answer us, O Lord our God; Give light (life) to our eyes, or do not allow your people to sleep the sleep of death; deliver oh Lord, deliver from the hands of the wicked. Bend their bows, and destroy their weapons of warfare. [4] Jehovah , you're the Man of war, let not the enemy say, “ they have have overcome us, they have triumphed”; let not our adversaries adversaries rejoice in our helpless. [5] ¶Everlasting God, we have have trusted and relied on you and has been confident in Your loving kindness, faithfulness, and graciousness; and power to deliver. Come to our rescue our Lord our God. Our hearts shall rejoice and delight in Your salvation. [6] We will sing to the Lord, Because He has dealt bountifully with us; our God has answered; He has granted us victory; and we will be joyful and rejoice in you our Lord, the El-Shaddai; Jehovah El- Sabaoth.
