Acts 6:7 (KJV) "And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith." QUOTE TO REFLECT ON "True growth is not measured merely by numbers or achievements, but by the abiding presence of God and faithful obedience to His Word." DAY'S REFLECTION David's greatness was not built on military skill alone. The secret behind his steady progress was that the Lord was with him. God's presence gave him wisdom, strength, favour, and victory. Likewise, the remarkable growth of the early Church was not the result of human strategies alone. As God's Word was faithfully preached and lived out, the number of believers increased, and lives were transformed. Many people desire success but overlook the One who gives lasting success. It is possible to gain influence without God's presence, but such success is often temporary. Lasting growth comes when our lives remain rooted in God, our decisions are guided by His wisdom, and our service is motivated by love for Him. Consider a young farmer who plants two fields. One field is watered regularly and carefully tended, while the other is neglected. Though both began with the same seed, only the well-cared-for field produces a rich harvest. In the same way, a life continually nourished by God's presence through prayer, worship, and obedience will experience steady spiritual growth and become fruitful in every season. Do not focus only on visible achievements. Pursue God's presence above all else. As you remain faithful to His Word and depend on His guidance daily, He will cause your life, family, ministry, career, and influence to grow according to His perfect purpose.
