Canadian worship leader Brian Doerksen has died of cancer. He was 60 years old. Brian wrote some of the best known songs released by Vineyard Music. Perhaps his most popular was “Come, Now is the Time to Worship.” Among my favorites were “Creation Calls”, “Light the Fire Again”, “Here Am I”, “Fortress 144”, and “Father to Son.” I highly recommend listening to the latter song about God’s love for us. “See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are!” (1 John 3:1 NLT)
