Daily Devotion: Mark 6:34
“So do not worry about tomorrow; it will have enough worries of its own. There is no need to add to the troubles each day brings.” GNBUK
Life can be overwhelming at times. We are bombarded by relationships that do not work out well, finances can be an issue, we worry about our kids constantly, the list goes on. Society has become toxic on every level and some people cannot cope and burn out or abuse substances in an effort to blank out these negative issues.
But what does Jesus say. Read the scripture again. Jesus says that we need not worry about tomorrow. He encourages us to focus on today, this moment. Why? Because tomorrow will bring worries of its own.
Focus your strength on today. Do what you can and let go of the rest. God will provide every time as you will find in the scripture below.
Hebrews 4:16: “Let us have confidence, then, and approach God’s throne, where there is grace. There we will receive mercy and find grace to help us just when we need it.” GNBUK
We should, instead of worrying, humbly and with thanks, reach out to God, share your problems and He will answer your prayers for nothing is impossible to God.
