Unusual Gratitude
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 1Corinthians10:13

The best time to be grateful to God is when it seems things appear to be falling apart and it looks as if the centre can no longer hold. Thank God because whatever you are going through is a test, not a trial. It is a test of your faith. While trials lead to condemnation, tests on the other hand end in promotion and testimonies.

Be grateful because the test is common; it is not unique to you. It is not unusual in a way that it has never happened to another person before. Thank God because He is faithful; He cannot deny or forsake you. Rejoice that He will not allow you go through what you are not able to. Be excited also that within that thick darkness is His light waiting to emerge. As you do, you will see those pressures give way to His pleasures for you. This is your day.

Wisdom Fountain: “Gratitude lifts our eyes off the things we lack so we might see the blessings we possess.”
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I pray today for the grace to see what I usually miss. Open my eyes to the quiet gifts, the hidden mercies, and the small kindnesses that surround me every single hour. Let my life overflow with loud and quiet 'thank yous.' May my uncommonly grateful heart point others to Your endless grace and unfailing love in Jesus’ name.
