Recently I saw a Facebook reel that asked, “Who remembers the good old days when churches sang hymns?” In the background played “When the Roll Is Called Up Yonder” written in 1893. I don’t mind hearing an old hymn once in a while. However, younger folks in particular aren’t attracted to congregations whose music are stuck in the past. That’s one thing that repelled me from going to church until I committed my life to the Lord at 27. The Bible tells us many times to “Sing to the Lord a new song.”
