In walking with the Lord, I have discovered a number of battles you are not supposed to fight. Here is one. Don't fight the battle meant to stop you from fulfilling you purpose or that prevents scriptures to be fulfilled in your life.
There are battles and situations that may arise, but you must be sensitive to know their nature and their purpose.
Jesus could have called for angels to help Him but He knew that fighting back will make His mission unsuccessful, and scripture unfulfilled. Having power, authority and weapons are not enough to fight a battle. Many have fought battles that have made them lose the war. Many have fought battles that made scriptures from coming to pass in their lives. Many have fought battles that have made prophecies not to come to pass in their lives.
Remember the enemy is deceitful and subtle. Therefore you must learn to discern which battles you are to respond to and those you MUST be mute about or walk away.
Don't fight battles that will make scriptures not to be fulfilled in your life.
