When a friend serves you food, there are two things you would look out for, one is the vessel (the plate) and the second thing is the content. You cannot serve a great man food with wooden or dirty plates no matter how delicious the food is, likewise you cannot serve such a dignitary dirty food even if you use a golden plate, the food would not pass the minimum acceptable standards, and as such, unacceptable. This is similar to our service to God. There are two things God looks at first, the container (our bodies) the second and most important, the content (our hearts).
