🕊️ DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 216 DATE: 4TH AUGUST 2026 TOPIC: IGNITING THE FIRE (Part 6) Anchor Scripture: Hebrews 10:24–25 (NKJV) "And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together..." Devotional message: Yesterday, we saw that iron sharpens iron, and we learned that fellowshipping with believers who are on fire for God can ignite and strengthen our own spiritual fire. However, this fellowship is not limited only to physical gatherings with other believers. It also includes the things we consistently allow into our hearts through what we listen to and watch. The songs you listen to, the sermons you hear, and the videos or films you watch all influence your spiritual life. When you fill yourself with Spirit-filled worship, sound biblical teaching, and Christ-centered content, they become channels through which the Holy Spirit stirs your heart, strengthens your faith, and rekindles your passion for God. Just as godly fellowship sharpens your walk with Christ, Spirit-filled media can also impart fresh zeal and encourage you to pursue deeper intimacy with God. If you have noticed that your spiritual fire has grown dim, be intentional about surrounding yourself with things that build your spirit. Listen to worship songs that exalt Christ, watch sermons that faithfully teach the Word of God, and engage with Christian content that draws your heart closer to the Lord. As you continually feed on these things, your spiritual fire will not only be reignited but will also be sustained. At the same time, be careful to guard your heart against content that weakens your devotion to God. The voices you entertain today will shape the person you become tomorrow. Choose influences that strengthen your faith, deepen your love for Christ, and encourage you to live a life that glorifies Him. Spirit-filled fellowship—including godly believers, worship, sermons, and Christ-centered content—helps ignite and sustain the fire of God in your life. Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of godly fellowship. Help me to surround myself with people and influences that draw me closer to You. Give me discernment to choose what edifies my spirit and the discipline to reject anything that weakens my devotion to You. Let my heart continually burn with passion for Your presence, Your Word, and Your will. In Jesus' name, Amen.
