TITLE: "GOD MAKES A WAY WHERE THERE SEEMS TO BE NO WAY"
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S)
Exodus 14:13–14 (KJV) "And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace."
Isaiah 43:16 (KJV) "Thus saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;"
QUOTE TO REFLECT ON
"When every door seems closed, God still has a way where none can be seen."
DAY'S REFLECTION
There are moments in life when we feel trapped by circumstances beyond our control. The Israelites experienced such a moment at the Red Sea, with the sea before them and Pharaoh's army behind them. Fear overwhelmed them because they focused on the obstacle instead of the God who had already delivered them.
Through Moses, God gave three simple instructions: "Fear ye not," "stand still," and "see the salvation of the LORD." To fear not means refusing to let anxiety and uncertainty control our hearts. To stand still does not mean becoming passive, but remaining calm, trusting God's promises, and waiting for His direction instead of acting in panic. To see the salvation of the LORD is to expect God to intervene in ways that exceed human understanding.
Verse 14 declares, "The LORD shall fight for you." This is a powerful reminder that some battles cannot be won through human effort alone. God Himself goes before His children, defending them, opening impossible doors, and accomplishing what no human strength can achieve. Our responsibility is to trust Him, obey His instructions, and rest confidently in His faithfulness.
Isaiah 43:16 reminds us of God's unchanging nature. He is the Lord "which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters." The same God who divided the Red Sea is still making ways today. He can provide direction in confusion, hope in disappointment, peace in turmoil, and victory where defeat seems certain.
Whatever obstacle stands before you today, remember that God's power is never limited by human impossibilities. When you place your confidence in Him, He will make a way where no way appears to exist. Trust Him, remain steadfast, and watch Him reveal His mighty hand.
MEDITATION SCRIPTURE(S)
Psalm 46:10 (KJV) "Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth."
Romans 8:31 (KJV) "What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?"
LIFE LESSONS (IMPLICATIONS)
1. God's power is greater than every obstacle we face.
2. Faith replaces fear when we trust God's promises.
3. Waiting on God's direction brings peace and confidence.
4. The Lord fights for those who place their trust in Him.
EVERYDAY ACTION
Refuse to be ruled by fear. Pray before reacting, trust God's direction, and confidently expect Him to make a way where none seems possible.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, remove every fear from my heart. Help me to trust You completely, stand firm in faith, and witness Your mighty power working on my behalf. In Jesus' name, Amen.
DECLARATION
The Lord fights for me, and I will not fear. God is making a way for me where none seems to exist. I will stand firm, trust His promises, and walk confidently into the victory He has prepared for me. Amen.
