Positioned in Christ has only one thing to do with performance … good works flow out of people that are securely in Christ. The Holy Spirit fills us with his fruit and we exhibit it. Performance doesn’t matter at all though to keep our position in Christ. That’s where people that push their obedience and works centered ideas are “dead wrong.” They think faith without works dies, but that’s not what the Bible says.
