🕊️ DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 224 DATE: 12TH AUGUST 2026 TOPIC: BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: JOSHUA 1:9 (NKJV) “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Devotional message: Yesterday, we saw that if we must deliver our generation, we must first come out from among them and be separated. We cannot become deliverers while remaining captives of the same darkness from which we desire to set others free. Today, we see another crucial requirement: we must be strong and courageous. When God appointed Joshua to take over the leadership of Israel after Moses, one of the first instructions He gave him was to be strong and courageous. Joshua was stepping into a great assignment, and God knew that opposition, challenges, and overwhelming situations would arise. Therefore, courage was not optional; it was necessary for him to fulfil his assignment. In the same way, if God has called you to bring transformation to your generation, you must understand that opposition will come. There will be moments when the assignment appears greater than your strength, when circumstances seem overwhelming, and when people may discourage you. But you must learn to see yourself through the lenses of God's Word rather than through the limitations of your present circumstances. Your present condition does not define who you are in God. The Word of God defines your identity, your position, and your victory. You must continually remind yourself of what God has spoken concerning you and the assignment He has entrusted to you. We must also understand that victory is our inheritance in Christ. We are not fighting for victory as though the outcome is uncertain; we stand in the victory Christ has already secured for us. The One who lives in us is greater than the one who is in the world. Therefore, our confidence as deliverers must never come from our human ability, intelligence, resources, or strength. Our confidence must come from the Lord. We are vessels, but He is the One who works through us. We may be weak in ourselves, but His strength is made perfect in our weakness. Child of God, do not allow the size of the problem to make you forget the greatness of your God. Do not allow opposition to make you abandon your assignment. Arise, be strong and courageous, and continue moving forward. The God who called you is the same God who will sustain you and work through you. PRAYER Heavenly Father, Give me strength and courage to fulfil the assignment You have entrusted to me.Let Your power work through me to bring light, transformation, and deliverance to my generation.
