Dear God, thank You for bringing me through another day. As I get ready to rest tonight, I’m grateful that You’re not waiting to pull the rug out from under me when I fail. You’re a good Father who looks past my actions and cares about the condition of my heart. Your word in 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” God, I don’t want to just go through the motions anymore, lifting my hands while my heart stays unchanged. Tonight I’m falling before You honestly, repenting and asking You to help me actually change direction, not just perform like I have. I give this night completely to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
