COMMIT THY WORK UNTO THE LORD

Plan • Pray • Commit • Trust

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE

Proverbs 16:3 (KJV) “Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.”

1. PUT GOD FIRST

Whatever you are planning—business, career, ministry, family or education—involve God from the beginning.

Don't make plans first and ask God to bless them later.

2. COMMIT YOUR WORK

To commit means to entrust, dedicate and place something in God's hands.

Pray over your plans.
Work diligently.
Follow God's principles.

3. LET GOD DIRECT YOUR PLANS

Your ideas may be good, but God's wisdom is greater.

Proverbs 3:5–6 (KJV) “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

4. WORK AFTER YOU PRAY

Commitment to God does not mean sitting idle.

Pray + Plan + Work + Trust God.

Faith does not cancel effort; faith gives effort direction.

5. GOD CAN ESTABLISH YOUR THOUGHTS

When your plans are surrendered to God, He can bring clarity, stability and direction to your thinking.

Not every plan will happen exactly as you imagined—but God can lead you toward what is right.

KEY LESSONS

1. Put God first.
2. Commit your plans to Him.
3. Seek His direction.
4. Work diligently.
5. Trust His timing.

FINAL CHARGE

Don't carry tomorrow alone. Put your plans in God's hands.

Pray about it.
Plan it.
Work on it.
Trust God with the outcome.

SHORT PRAYER

Father, I commit my plans, work and future into Your hands. Give me wisdom to plan, strength to work and humility to follow Your direction. Establish my thoughts and guide my steps according to Your will. In Jesus' name, Amen.
