Dear God, thank You for bringing me through another day. As I get ready to rest tonight, I’m asking You to show me anywhere the enemy has been trying to use people around me to pull me off the course You have me on. Your word in James 1:19 says, “You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.” God, I don’t want to let anger or negative words make a situation worse when I could simply turn the other cheek and stay focused on You. Help me recognize when the enemy is trying to jump into my spirit through frustration with people I love, and give me the discipline to choose peace instead. I don’t want to be used against Your plans for my life. I give this night completely to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
