DAY 31- Morning
Theme: BUILDING A SAFE HOME: Creating a Marriage Where Love, Respect and Peace Can Grow.
Morning Reflection
Keep Walking Together
Good morning,
We have come to the end of August.
Thirty-one days.
Thirty-one opportunities to pause, reflect, pray, forgive, serve, listen and love.
Perhaps some days were easy.
Perhaps some touched places in your marriage that needed healing.
Perhaps some lessons made you laugh.
Perhaps others challenged you deeply.
But remember:
Marriage is a journey, not a one-month project.
Tomorrow begins another month.
There will be new responsibilities.
New challenges.
New joys.
New opportunities to grow.
So don't put away what you have learned.
Carry it forward.
Keep choosing each other.
Keep praying together.
Keep talking.
Keep serving.
Keep forgiving.
Keep Christ at the centre.
And when you stumble, don't assume the journey is over.
Get up.
Take each other's hands.
And keep walking.
God's Word
"Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus." — Hebrews 12:1–2
Today's Love Action
Hold your spouse's hand and thank God together for bringing you through August.
Then each of you say one thing you want to do better in your marriage next month.
Let's Talk
What is the most important lesson God has taught us through this month's journey?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for carrying us through this month. Thank You for every lesson, every blessing and every opportunity to grow. Help us carry these lessons into the new month. Continue to strengthen our marriage and keep Christ at the centre of our home. In Jesus' name, Amen.
From The Counselor's Chair
A strong marriage is not built in one dramatic moment. It is built through thousands of ordinary choices made faithfully over time.
Marriage Nugget
"A lasting marriage is built one faithful day at a time."
Remember
In marriage, it is not about winning the argument; it is about winning each other's hearts.
