🙏🛐Crying Prayer - 3🛐🙏 ✝️📖Syllabus- 53📖✝️ "My eyes flow with unceasing tears, they cannot cease, until the Lord looks down from heaven and looks down." Lamentations 3:49-50 Jeremiah ministered to the nation of Israel at a time when the dark clouds of captivity were looming over their lives. Before his eyes, the king of Babylon came and took the Jews captive, and Jerusalem’s temple and palaces were torn down, burned with fire, and the city was utterly desolate. (2 Kings 24:11-16) He saw the tongues of nursing infants sticking to the roof of their mouths for thirst, boys and girls crying for bread, beautiful children lying on dunghills, leaders being hanged, young men being grinded, and children “stomping in the stocks” (Lamentations 4:4-5). He said, “I have seen the punishment of his anger” (Lamentations 3:1). Therefore, his eyes were constantly wet; his heart was filled with a constant stream of supplication. He intended to continue his cry of supplication until God looked down from heaven and delivered them from captivity. Friends, we are also ministering at a time when a terrible dark cloud has descended upon the Christian community. Just as the nation of Israel suffered great punishment for their astray, so too is this great judgment of God present for the great corruption of the Christian community. We should pray with constant weeping that the elect may be saved during this time of great crisis and that their faith may not be lost. Like the captivity of Babylon, many Christians today are imprisoned in various errors of Satan. The truth of God is being forgotten. In such a situation, those who love God have no leisure to spend time in traditional prayers. We need weeping prayers. "Let tears flow like a stream day and night, for you have something to say Don't rest." Lem. 2: 18.
