Have you ever done something that you had thought will give you happiness and enjoyment only to end up in finding it was all a trap to take away your joy and peace? Many of us are still living in that situation we put ourselves and Satan is very happy because we are right where he wants! The name Satan is actually a title meaning the accuser.
The old stories especially from medieval times painted a picture that had caused many think of this enemy as a certain ugly figure. An ugly tail, redhorns etc! It had caused many think it was just a folklore to scare kids. However, the work of accuser is very evidence to ignore even in our very lives. Another bigger lie is when he is viewed as equal to God. He isn't for you who knows all was made by God so he is just a creation like you. It is unfortunately that we've shoddy details about his existence, for example his origin as angel Lucifer. Probably God intentionally wanted it that way for the Holy Book is about merciful and graceful Father to us.
As the Bible, I will praise God and father of our Lord Jesus instead of this enemy and accuser of brethren. He was defeated by Jesus Christ during temptation and on that cross of Calvary and he is defeated today. He may walk around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour in their ignorance but for us we'll remain full alert at all times that we don't fall into his temptation. Wake up child of God , walk out of that mire by the power of Christ your Savior.
Child of God, God promises that His plan is to give you hope and future. He is a loving and caring Father just as Christ taught us to pray. Do not be ignorant of the enemy who is happy in your lost and confused state. Wake up and pray child of God. Stand strong in the power of God's might. Refuse to remain a slave to sin, reject those enticements and hopeless situations the enemy is pushing you through, stand up like the blind Bartimaeus , call louder even if they are telling you to keep quiet, call on Jesus! He is right here with this us this morning.
Your Savior lives, declare it upon your life that you're more than conquerors in Jesus name. Speak new life in your life, bind those doors of evil that the enemy is using to torment you. Sexual immorality, lies, unbelieve, pride, selfishness etc bind them in Jesus name. Tame your tongue to speak only life as it is written in God's Word. Meditate on those scriptures , pray without ceasing. In Jesus name. Your day of victory is here , your day of salvation is now. You're blessed and not cursed. You're accepted not rejected. By the blood of Jesus, you're free to start your day serving God and His requirements. In Jesus name Amen.
