Hebrews 13:8 NLT
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Talking of changes, our world is racing in changes, from the fascinating artificial intelligence now available on our phones, less people who can be trusted, extreme issues around the 'church', zombified population blindly living in their devices among many others.
Not long ago one would walk into places of worship and find trustworthy brethren and connect. These days you'll find them come together like a batch of hungry cannibals ready to devour each other after the meeting. It seems that the enemy found smarter way to ensure that we are socially divided from homes to church to everywhere. It is like a fulfilment of a song sang 'Musa werũ-ini gĩthima kĩa Mara, maĩ marũra makĩaga kũnyuĩka, kĩrĩndĩ kĩanyua gĩkĩũria Musa, nĩmarũrũ tũkũnyua kĩ... Ona rĩũ maĩ no marũrũ kuma mũciĩ nginya mawĩra-inĩ..." (Moses in the wilderness at Mara, bitter waters , crowd tried to drink and told Moses, the water is bitter, what shall we drink? Even now the water is bitter, from homes to workplaces..."
This is the same question we are asking today. What shall we do and the waters are bitter everywhere? Where is the solution for all these troubles? Who shall we trust our lives with? The writer of Hebrew who sounds like Paul gives us the key. He states clearly that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever! It means you and me can trust in what God teaches us through His Word. God's nature is demonstrated as unchanging in love and power,He is reliable because He never change with the people and world around us and lastly He is consistent in truth, His promises and moral standards are the same across all times.
There's this proverb used to demonstrate marital faithfulness 5:15. Drink water from your own cistern, running water from your own well. It is our duty to remain faithful to God who called us regardless of what is happening around us. He is our shield and defender. He is the only one who is able to give you harvest even in drought. The Bible likens a person who trust God to a tree planted by the waters that remains green and bear it's fruits in it's season.
I encourage you to trust in God. Keep focusing on Him. Hold to Him as your firm foundation and anchor even amidst storms of life. If you can lose anything your faith in God should never be part of it. Matthew 18:8 If your hand or your foot causes you to fall into sin, chop it off and throw it away. It’s better to enter into life crippled or lame than to be thrown into the eternal fire with two hands or two feet.
