Antidote to Rejection
If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. John 15:18 (NKJV)
Rejection is not what happens to us, but how we interpret what happens to us. It is how we view ourselves in relation to others. Are we so insecure that we cannot handle being neglected or ignored?! Some people are devastated when they are not accepted. Some people are mean to everyone. They make life hard for others. You have a choice. You can accept their rejection or reject it.
The remedy for rejection is finding freedom in God’s acceptance of you, not in others’ acceptance. You must recognize the fact that God accepts you. Shake off your rejection and look for new opportunities. Although you may not become friends with those who reject you, God wants you to be at peace with them. (Romans 12:18). This is your day.
Wisdom Fountain: "Rejection is merely a redirection to what is truly meant for you."
Prayer: Father Lord God, I release the sting of every 'no' or closed door, and I choose to trust that You are redirecting me toward something better. I reject every lie of being unwanted, unloved, or not enough. I declare my true identity and worth do not depend on human approval, but on who You say I am. Strengthen my spirit to always stand tall, knowing You will never reject me in Jesus’ name.
