Good morning, brethren.
1. Morning devotion for today.

MD.i. MORNING TEA
THE WORD FOR TODAY. SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 5, 2O26.
"FOUR KINDS OF GIVERS (1)"

‘…he…earns wages to put into a bag with holes.’ Haggai 1:6 NKJV

THERE ARE four kinds of givers noted in the Bible. For the next few days let’s look at each. Bag people. In the days of Haggai the prophet, the Israelites were so busy making money that they had no time for God. Sound familiar? So he said to them: ‘‘‘Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your panelled houses, and this temple to lie in ruins?”…“Consider your ways! You have sown much, and bring in little…and he who earns wages, earns wages to put into a bag with holes”…“You looked for much, but indeed it came to little; and when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why?” says the Lord of Hosts. “Because of My house that is in ruins, while every one of you runs to his own house’’’ (Haggai 1:4-9 NKJV). If you want God to be interested in your house, be interested in His house. If you want God to bless your house, begin to bless His house. If you want God to provide for your house, start providing for His house. You say, ‘How much should I give?’ God sets the baseline at one-tenth of your income (Leviticus 27:32). Whatever you give beyond that will be determined by three things: a) Your ability. ‘Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord your God which He has given you’ (Deuteronomy 16:17 NKJV). b) Your desire to reap. God will ‘…multiply the seed that you have sown…’ (2 Corinthians 9:10 NKJV). c) Your love. ‘…“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind”’ (Matthew 22:37 NKJV).

*FORBIDDEN RELATIONSHIPS*

*TEXT:* LEVITICUS 11:29-47.

29 These also shall be unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth; the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after his kind,
30 And the ferret, and the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail, and the mole.
31 These are unclean to you among all that creep: whosoever doth touch them, when they be dead, shall be unclean until the even.
32 And upon whatsoever any of them, when they are dead, doth fall, it shall be unclean; whether it be any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever vessel it be, wherein any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the even; so it shall be cleansed.
33 And every earthen vessel, whereinto any of them falleth, whatsoever is in it shall be unclean; and ye shall break it.
34 Of all meat which may be eaten, that on which such water cometh shall be unclean: and all drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean.
35 And every thing whereupon any part of their carcase falleth shall be unclean; whether it be oven, or ranges for pots, they shall be broken down: for they are unclean and shall be unclean unto you.
36 Nevertheless a fountain or pit, wherein there is plenty of water, shall be clean: but that which toucheth their carcase shall be unclean.
37 And if any part of their carcase fall upon any sowing seed which is to be sown, it shall be clean.
38 But if any water be put upon the seed, and any part of their carcase fall thereon, it shall be unclean unto you.
39 And if any beast, of which ye may eat, die; he that toucheth the carcase thereof shall be unclean until the even.
40 And he that eateth of the carcase of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: he also that beareth the carcase of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
41 And every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth shall be an abomination; it shall not be eaten.
42 Whatsoever goeth upon the belly, and whatsoever goeth upon all four, or whatsoever hath more feet among all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them ye shall not eat; for they are an abomination.
43 Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled thereby.
44 For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
45 For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.
46 This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every creature that creepeth upon the earth:
47 To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten

*Timeless Truth:*
_"Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you"_ (2 Corinthians 6:17).

*INTRODUCTION*

Many fundamental truths of the Bible, especially those that have to do with Christian separation, will increasingly be counted as strange doctrines by the lukewarm Church as we are approaching the coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The lukewarm Church of the last days will be steadfastly and successfully remove the landmark teachings and separation between the world and the Church. The consequent result is that the real presence of God will continually depart from the Church until what remains in the Church will just be a form of religion, entertainment and celebrations of her backslidings. A painstaking study of the Word, especially, the symbolic revelations or types, in the Old Testament, will give the needed conviction on what the perfect will of God is as clearly stated in the New Testament. Heavenly minded ministers and saints should stand on the watch against compromises and backslidings of the latter days. Only few will make it according to the Scriptures. *"Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able"*. Why will they not be able? Because they will be unwilling to pay the full price.

*1. Relationships with Unclean Animals*

a. The chapter deals with unclean and clean water animals, flying birds and insects and then land animals. Why is God dictating to man what human relationships should be with these inferior creatures? A wrong relationship or carelessness towards these creatures can result in avoidable destructive sicknesses and diseases. It can also lead to untimely deaths, avoidable fatal injuries, misuse and abuse of those animals by man. Since there were little or no scientific discoveries at that time, the only Person that can authoritatively give us reliable and valuable information and caution is God, the Creator Himself. The text deals with land animals and the right attitude or relationship with them. They were classified into clean and unclean animals. The first emphasis here is on creeping and unclean animals.
b. Salient points would be outlined.
I. Not all creeping animals were classified as unclean. Those that were unclean are listed in text. *"These also shall be unclean unto you among the creeping"* (verses 29,30).
II. Since those classified as unclean were good creatures of God, anybody could touch them, but it was wrong to touch their dead bodies. *"Whosoever doth touch them, when they be dead, shall be unclean until the even"*. Anything their dead bodies touched, including vessels, whether deliberately or accidentally, also became unclean till the even after washing with water. However, the breakable must be broken (verses 32, 33). For emphasis, those vessels touched by the dead bodies of the unclean animals also became defiled until cleansed with water.
III. If the dead bodies touched any edibles or the utensils they used to prepare the edibles, all of them, including the edible, remain unclean until washed (verses 34,35,36).
IV. Touching or eating a dead animal were the same offence that would make the culprit to be unclean until he was cleansed by water in the evening (verses 39, 40). It must be observed that if those laws were observed, it would reduce bacteria and virus outbreaks and infections which at times might be deadly.
V. And every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth shall be an abomination; it shall not be eaten.
VI. They could touch any of the creeping animals as long as they were not dead. However, eating any of the creeping animals was an abomination, either clean or unclean (verses 42,43) and made the eaters abominable before God.

*Question*

What are the spiritual lessons you can learn from the above?

*2. Relationships with the Ungodly and Abominable*

a. The Scripture says all these were written for those of us in the New Testament as types, figures, shadows or ensamples. *"Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come."* (1 Corinthians 10:11). The passage, in effect, actually, is an instruction on man's relationship with each other especially as it relates to the saints. This can be supported further. 2 Corinthians 6:17 says *"Touch not the unclean thing"*, referring to our text. It was given as a condition for being acceptable by God. *"And I will receive you"*. A look at the context in 2 Corinthians 6:14-18) shows that the command *"touch not the unclean thing"* is actually, speaking about our relationship with unbelievers who are actually, dead in sin and trespasses. So the dead animals stand for sinners and unbelievers, in the New Testament, who are dead in sins and trespasses (Ephesians 2:1).
b. It is in order, then, to apply each of the points in our text.
I. All sinners are abomination to God and our relationships with them should be at the superficial level so as to get them saved and not so deep to the point of deep and influencing closeness in businesses, marriage, worship and other areas. That will be an "unequal yoke".
II. You can touch an unclean animal except when it is dead. You can relate with sinners, but not to the point of doing their deadly evils and sins. Don't allow the sinners (dead bodies) to contaminate your life. If you do, you become unclean. *"Keep thyself pure"*.
III. Believers are God's vessels. Once they pollute their lives, secretly or openly, with dead bodies (sinners), they become unfit for the service of God regardless of the anointing on them. *"If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work"* (2 Timothy 2:21).
IV. What about contaminated and unclean food? Any spiritual meal given by any man of God or anybody is not pleasing to God if it is contaminated with carnality, false doctrines etc. If you don't separate from those teachings and you swallow it, or you deceive yourself to believe you can make the right selections, you also become unclean before God. God is only pleased with the unadulterated and pure doctrine of His word. You don't manage with any, you separate.
V. In sum, the Biblical teaching of separation is still valid today with its root from the Old Testament. Anybody who ignores or compromises any of those teachings does so at his own peril.

*Question*

What are the other implications on Christian separation as it affects ministers and saints?

*3. Righteousness Undefiled with Activities*

The teachings are all about holy living in Christian relationships with God, fellow saints and sinners.*"For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy"*. Holiness in relationship, in conduct and thought are clearly emphasized in the Bible. The teachings on Biblical separation must not be allowed to fizzle out in the last days so that entering heaven would be a reality. *"Neither shall ye defile yourselves"*. The Israelites were saved through the blood of the lamb at the passover. However, God's requirement went beyond salvation. *"For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy"*. Increasing and deeper holiness is required by God from all His children. This holiness will make a clear difference and separation from the ungodly. *"To make a difference between the unclean and the clean"*.

*Question*

Are you a separated christian or compromising and worldly believer?

*Prayer Points*

1.Give praises to God for the revelation of His will and ask that He will open your eyes to areas you are found wanting .
2.Ask God to search your heart and life and purify your heart and relationships so that you will not experience His anger .
3.Lord, Keep your church from the latter day compromises with the world .
4.Father, help Your children to take Your Word seriously and separate from the world .

*BLESSING OF BOUNDARIES* 🫵🏽🏽‍🏽‍🏽🏽‍🏽

```TEXT:LEVITICUS 11:29-47```
```KEY VERSE:``` _*"To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten" (LEVITICUS 11:47).*_

*God's words to Adam in Eden at the beginning of creation provided freedom and liberty. Man's diet, however, did have a restriction, a boundary: the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was off limits. Whatever this tree was, it was, quite literally, forbidden fruit. The book of Leviticus serves as God's worship manual, guiding His people to maintain His presence. It also outlines boundaries, prohibiting the Israelites from eating or touching certain species of birds, animals, and fishes. Those who come into contact with forbidden things undergo rigorous washing and ceremonial cleansing before being re-admitted into God's presence. The book serves as a codified directory for ceremonial cleanliness and adherence to God's rules for a closer relationship with Him.*

*The prohibition of certain animal species raises questions about the criteria for such distinctions, as the reasoning behind why some animals are deemed permissible to eat while others are not remains unclear. Various explanations have been proposed, including the notion of Israel maintaining its unique identity and the necessity for hygiene. The hygienic argument suggests that unclean animals were considered carriers of diseases, making them unsuitable for consumption, particularly in an era lacking refrigeration, which could result in serious foodborne illnesses. However, this view is complicated by later biblical assertions, such as those made by Jesus, which indicate that all meats may be considered clean. Additionally, these dietary laws might serve an ecological purpose by helping to protect certain species from extinction by reducing the likelihood of their needless slaughter.*

*The failure of man to adhere to the boundary established by God led to sin and resulted in a state of uncleanness, causing expulsion from Paradise and a broken relationship with God. This transgression initiated a legacy of physical and spiritual health issues. While believers today may partake of various foods, it remains essential to seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit and adhere to available health advice, ensuring compliance with God's commands and maintaining the boundaries divinely appointed for their well-being.*

*Temptation is an enticement to do evil. Satan is the personality behind every temptation. It is a common experience, and no one, including youths, is immune to it. Christ's temptation foreshadows the fact that all believers will invariably be tempted.*

*"Jesus was tempted not because He was bad, but because He was important," says G. B. Duncan. As a Christian youth, are you ever tempted? Temptation is not a sin, but yielding to it is. In the next few days, we shall be considering areas of Christ's temptation by Satan, namely: appetite, ambition, and avarice.*

*In our text today, Satan tempted Christ on appetite, having fasted, and obviously hungry. Relying on Christ's immediate need for food, Satan asked Him to turn stones into bread to satisfy His hunger.*

*Friend, watch it! Satan will tempt you when and where you are most vulnerable. Watch your appetite! Esau lost his birthright because of food. Christ overcame Satan with God's word. So, study God's word, know it, and use it like Christ did to overcome temptations.*

The great King of the universe has prepared a great supper for the whole world. It is the biggest and richest feast the world has ever known. The preparation has been going on from the day the Prince, the King's Son, began His work on earth.

The supper is prepared by God Himself. People from every nation, black and white, young and old, from all kindred, of all generations, in all nooks and crannies of the earth are invited to come and dine.

And you are specially invited. Everyone can join the supper at his given time. The gate to the venue of the feast is open every day and night. There, you will have the most nourishing food to eat at no cost to you.

The gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is a great supper, ready for the whole world to enjoy. It gives the spiritual nourishment of forgiveness and salvation to whosoever partakes in it through repentance from sin. The Jews, the biological children of Abraham, were first invited and later on, the spiritual children of Abraham, the Gentiles.

*Are you among the servants of God who have partaken in this supper, and now going all over the world inviting everyone into the blessings of the gospel? Those who accept the invitation to the feast wear a special garment: the robe of repentance from sin and holiness of life.*

*Are you among them? It is those who partake in this supper of the gospel of Jesus Christ that will take part in the marriage supper of the Lamb. Are you ready? If you are not a friend of Jesus already, you can pray now and ask Him for forgiveness.*

2. Morning Prayer for today.

MP.i. Morning Prayer

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. ⏤ 1 John 1:9

Prayer is a shield to the soul, a sacrifice to God, and a scourge for Satan. ⏤ John Bunyan

Almighty and most merciful Father, we have erred and strayed from Your ways like lost sheep. We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts. We have offended against Your holy laws. We have left undone those things which we ought to have done, and we have done those things which we ought not to have done, and there is no soundness in us. O Lord, have mercy upon us, miserable offenders. Spare those, O God, who confess their faults. Restore those who are penitent, according to Your promises declared in Christ Jesus our Lord. And grant, O merciful Father, for Your sake, that we may hereafter live a godly, righteous, and sober life, to the glory of Your holy name.

We bless Your name, O God, our Father, that we can come to You with our confessions, assured that You will, for the sake of Jesus Christ, forgive us all our manifold transgressions. May we today have Your divine peace in our souls. May the love of Jesus also be in us, warming our hearts and making us more like You.

Help us in all our work and duties. Let us not falter. Preserve us from laziness and carelessness. Make us diligent in our responsibilities. Strengthen us for all burden-bearing and cross-bearing, for all struggle and conflict. Let us not faint nor fail. Enable us to do every task in a way that pleases You.

We ask also for wisdom that we may not make mistakes. Bless our influence on others; may it always be good and helpful. Give us the true spirit of neighborliness. May the mind that was in Christ Jesus be in us, making us humble and helpful. Grant these mercies and favors in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

*Question* What are the other implications on Christian separation as it affects ministers and saints? *3. Righteousness Undefiled with Activities* The teachings are all about holy living in Christian relationships with God, fellow saints and sinners.*"For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy"*. *Question* Are you a separated christian or compromising and worldly believer? *Prayer Points* 1.Give praises to God for the revelation of His will and ask that He will open your eyes to areas you are found wanting 🙏. 2.Ask God to search your heart and life and purify your heart and relationships so that you will not experience His anger 🙏. 3.Lord, Keep your church from the latter day compromises with the world 🙏. 4.Father, help Your children to take Your Word seriously and separate from the world 🙏. *HYMN:* There is power in the blood *BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* LEVITICUS 15-17. The book serves as a codified directory for ceremonial cleanliness and adherence to God's rules for a closer relationship with Him.* *The prohibition of certain animal species raises questions about the criteria for such distinctions, as the reasoning behind why some animals are deemed permissible to eat while others are not remains unclear. Additionally, these dietary laws might serve an ecological purpose by helping to protect certain species from extinction by reducing the likelihood of their needless slaughter.* *The failure of man to adhere to the boundary established by God led to sin and resulted in a state of uncleanness, causing expulsion from Paradise and a broken relationship with God. This transgression initiated a legacy of physical and spiritual health issues. While believers today may partake of various foods, it remains essential to seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit and adhere to available health advice, ensuring compliance with God's commands and maintaining the boundaries divinely appointed for their well-being.* ✍🏽```THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:``` _*Without boundaries, man will stray into forbidden and harmful territory.*_ 📜📜```THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:``` *LEVITICUS 15-17*📜📜 Blessing Of Boundaries https://dailymanna.app// *RECOMMENDED GOSPEL HYMNS AND SONGS - GHS 47: JUST OBEY; GHS 246: O BROTHER, LIFE'S JOURNEY BEGINNING; AND GHS 6: YIELD NOT TO TEMPTATION* *TXD [THEXDEVOTIONALS] on Twitter* *#DailyManna5thSeptember2026* *#GCK* *#WorshipNuggets* *#BibleNuggets* *#LeadershipNuggets* *#RevivalNuggets* *#CrusadeNuggets* https://www.youtube.com/[THEXDEVOTIONALS] [04/09, 8:32 pm] Pastor Attah: ```DEEPER CHRISTIAN LIFE MINISTRY``` _*HIGHER EVERYD🅰️Y: (A DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE FOR YOUTHS)*_ ✍🏽👩🏻‍💼🌻 🍇🙏🏽🛰🚀🔬📚 ```SATURDAY 5TH SEPTEMBER, 2026``` *ARE YOU EVER TEMPTED? - 1* 🎚️📓📖🫵🏽🙋🏽‍♂️🙋🏽‍♀️⚠️‼️🛑👀🧎🏽🧎🏽‍♀️🙏🏽 📜📜```TEXT:MATTHEW 4:1-4```📜📜 📖``` MEMORY VERSE:``` _*"And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread" (MATTHEW 4:3).*_ *Temptation is an enticement to do evil. Those who accept the invitation to the feast wear a special garment: the robe of repentance from sin and holiness of life.* *Are you among them? It is those who partake in this supper of the gospel of Jesus Christ that will take part in the marriage supper of the Lamb. Are you ready? If you are not a friend of Jesus already, you can pray now and ask Him for forgiveness.* 🍥🍥🍥🍥🍥🍥🍥🍥 ```🅿️rayer:``` _*Lord, please make me a partaker of the blessings of the gospel of salvation.*_ 🙏🏽 ```📖 Further Reading:``` *Colossians 1:21-23* You Are Invited https://dailymanna.app// *TXD [THEXDEVOTIONALS] on Twitter* *#SincereMilk5thSeptember2026* *#GCK* *#WorshipNuggets* *#BibleNuggets* *#LeadershipNuggets* *#RevivalNuggets* *#CrusadeNuggets* https://www.youtube.com/[THEXDEVOTIONALS]. 2. Morning Prayer for today. MP.i. Morning Prayer If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. ⏤ 1 John 1:9 Prayer is a shield to the soul, a sacrifice to God, and a scourge for Satan. ⏤ John Bunyan Almighty and most merciful Father, we have erred and strayed from Your ways like lost sheep. Amen. https://www.youdevotion.com/daily-prayer/miller/62/morning #taptapstudio #youdevotion.
