FORGET NOT HIS BENEFITS ( Psalms 103:1-22)
whoever says that serving God will be easy is lying, whoever says that you will have everything you want in life is lying and whoever says that a Christian is not suppose to be poor or that any Christian who is poor is not serving God is lying (Luke 6:20).
Serving God will not be a smooth sail,there will be trials,temptations, tribulations and alot of heavy bumps on the narrow road that leads to God,BUT FORGET NOT HIS BENEFITS.
Image when were you younger how you mapped out the kind of future you want and you started working it out one after the other,from primary school, college and university getting all your degrees and finally getting your dream job and the salary you wanted,Imagine how fulfilling and satisfying you will feel.But along the way of achieving your dreams you might failed a subject or somebody had said you won't make it but with all the readings, headaches and hardship at the end you eventually got the future you wanted. it's the same thing when serving God,There will be hardship ,it's not a smooth ride,But at the end it will pay off,Because God always rewards those who are his.
There are Perks,there are BENEFITS in serving God. So my Brethens FORGET NOT HIS BENEFITS.
I pray that God will give us the faith,courage,boldness,perseverance and the grace to finish this race in perfection, AMEN.
