POUR OUT YOUR HEART BEFORE GOD

Cry • Pray • Trust

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE

Psalm 142:1–2 (KJV) “I cried unto the LORD with my voice; with my voice unto the LORD did I make my supplication. I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble.”

1. CRY TO GOD

David did not hide his pain. He cried unto the LORD.

When your heart is heavy, talk to God.

2. POUR OUT YOUR HEART

God already knows what you are going through. Tell Him honestly.

Prayer is a safe place to release your burdens.

3. TAKE YOUR TROUBLES TO GOD

Don't carry every burden alone.

1 Peter 5:7 (KJV) “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”

4. TRUST GOD AFTER YOU PRAY

Prayer may not change everything immediately, but it can change your strength, perspective and direction.

KEY LESSON

1. Cry to God.
2. Pray honestly.
3. Release your burdens.
4. Trust His care.

FINAL CHARGE

When your heart is heavy, don't suffer in silence.

Pray about it.
Talk to God.
Leave the burden with Him.

What is too heavy for you is not too heavy for God.

SHORT PRAYER

Father, I bring my burdens and troubles before You. Hear my cry, strengthen my heart and give me peace. Help me to trust You with everything I cannot handle. In Jesus' name, Amen.
