Dear God, thank You for bringing me through another day. As I get ready to rest tonight, I’m realizing that the heaviness I’ve been carrying is connected to what I’ve been holding onto from this world. Your word in Matthew 11:30 says, “For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” God, following You has never been the hard part, the hard part is being pulled in by the things this world offers that take my peace. Help me pick up my cross and let go of everything that’s weighing me down, because I know that’s actually lighter than carrying the world. Thank You for giving me real rest tonight, not just from what I faced today, but from everything I’ve been trying to carry on my own. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
