🕊️ DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 253 DATE: 10TH SEPTEMBER 2026 TOPIC: THE HEART OF GIVING_4 ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:2 CORINTHIANS 9:8 (NLT): And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. Devotional message: Yesterday, we saw that our audience matters when it comes to giving. When we give unto the Lord, He sees what is done in secret and rewards us; but when we give merely to be seen and praised by men, their recognition becomes the reward we have sought.From today and in the days to come, we shall look at some of the blessings and results Scripture associates with a generous life. One of these is the grace and supply to continue giving. Apostle Paul teaches that God is able to make all grace abound toward us so that, having sufficiency in all things, we may have an abundance for every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8–11). God understands that you cannot give what you do not have. Therefore, when He has entrusted you with resources and has given you a generous heart, He can also provide what is necessary for you to continue being a blessing to His servants, His work, the needy, and those around you. Notice that the purpose of God's provision is not merely that we accumulate more for ourselves. He supplies so that we can continue doing good. The blessing becomes a channel through which others are touched and God's purposes are advanced. We see an example in the life of Dorcas (Tabitha), who was known for her good works and charitable deeds. Her life had touched the people around her so deeply that when she died, the widows showed Peter the garments she had made for them (Acts 9:36–39). She had used what God had placed in her hands to make a difference in the lives of others. We also see this spirit among the early believers. Those who had possessions willingly shared with those who were in need, ensuring that there was provision among the brethren (Acts 2:44–45; Acts 4:34–35). Their resources became instruments of love, fellowship, and Kingdom advancement. Therefore, if you desire to live a life through which God continually blesses others, begin by faithfully stewarding what He has already placed in your hands. Do not wait until you have much before you become generous. Ask yourself: Who can I bless with what I have today? Whose life can I touch? What need can I meet? What Kingdom assignment can I support? As you faithfully steward what God has given you, you position yourself to become a channel through which His provision can reach others. God blesses us not merely to make us reservoirs, but rivers through which His goodness can flow. Child of God, let your life become a blessing. Use your resources, abilities, time, skills, and opportunities to touch lives around you and beyond. As you faithfully steward what God has entrusted to you, trust Him as the source of your supply and ask Him for the grace to continue being generous. PRAYER Father, thank You for everything You have entrusted to me.May my life continually be a blessing to those around me and beyond. In Jesus' name, Amen.
