Colossians 1:12 KJV — Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
In all of his letters to the church Paul addressed the children of God as Saints. Saints is the Greek word Hagios and means Most Holy thing or person. As a child of God you are most holy this is not predicated on what you do it's predicated on your position in Jesus, in Jesus you are most holy. Just as all of the Holy instruments were most holy just as the holiest of all is called the most holy place you the child of God are most holy in Jesus and the holy of holies is now in your heart where God lives. God left the temple with Jesus' death burial and Resurrection and took up residence in you - the child of God - and you are the temple of God.
