Colossians 1:12 KJV — Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

1 John 1:7 KJV — But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

1 John 1:5 KJV — This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

Did you ever notice that Paul called God's people Saints "in light"? God's people are in light and have been cleansed of their sins. John wrote in 1 John 1:5 saying that God is light and that in him is no Darkness at all. Where are saints located? They are in Jesus they are also in God and Jesus is in God and God is light. God's people are in the light all the time because they're in God. You don't jump back and forth between light and darkness, when you mess up you are still in the light and you can walk as a child of God in the light because that is where you reside. Its a location thing. Its an identity thing.
