Christ Is My Strength

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE

Philippians 4:13 (KJV) “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

1. “I CAN DO ALL THINGS” — FAITH IN ACTION

Paul was not saying, “I can do anything I want.”
He was saying that with Christ, he could face every situation God called him to face.

Your circumstances may be difficult, but they don't have to defeat you.

2. “THROUGH CHRIST” — THE SOURCE

The power is not in “I.”
The power is in Christ.

Without Christ, human strength has limits. With Christ, we receive grace to endure, overcome and fulfil God's purpose.

Don't put confidence in yourself alone; put your confidence in Christ.

3. “STRENGTHENS ME” — CHRIST SUPPLIES THE POWER

Christ gives strength when you are weak, courage when you are afraid and endurance when the journey is long.

When your strength runs out, His strength does not.

KEY LESSON

1. I CAN — Have faith and take action.
2. THROUGH CHRIST — Depend on Him.
3. STRENGTHENS ME — Receive His strength.

FINAL CHARGE

Don't say, “I can't,” before asking, “Is Christ with me?”

I can face it.
I can endure it.
I can overcome it.
I can fulfil God's purpose—

THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME.

SHORT PRAYER

Father, help me to depend on Christ rather than my own strength. When I am weak, strengthen me; when I am discouraged, encourage me; and give me grace to face every challenge and fulfil Your purpose. In Jesus' name, Amen.
