You must also build a form of urgency to ensure there is no much time for them to 'think twice' about your offer. By the time they will be asking around and remembering the consequences; it will be too late and you'll be out of site.
Then enemy is a master of making sin attractive and beautiful. He will approach you with the word you already know and love and twist it giving you what looks like a better option. He will engage all your feelings, emotions and what not to entice you and indulge you into sin. Remember he is not ashamed to do it just as he even tried Jesus Christ the son of God Himself. He is a a good preacher especially to those who ignorantly listen to God but wants evidence of what they perceive from it rather than taking it all by faith. Think about all the neutralized scriptures about raising children, about giving, about families, about wealth, etc.
I know you may have been waiting for the enemy to approach you looking like that ugly and fearful figure and you are very wrong child of God. Unfortunately he doesn't have a form but takes any that he knows you'll listen to. During Genesis he took the form of serpent; an animal that was already known as shrewdest of all other animals created by God. Today he might be that very thing or person that you've encouraged so much around yourself and you're not ready to surrender in order to receive God as the only captain of your life.
Jesus Christ was clear that anybody who wants to follow Him must take their cross and follow Him. You cannot be like Saul who wanted to do and live his own will as well as God's will. You cannot sit on the fence about your relationship with God. You must decide on who to follow, the god of this world or Almighty God who created you and is speaking now to you! You cannot serve God and mammon! Our God is not mocked brethren. The consequences of sin have not been edited to suit the modern times; they will still end you in death! When we talk about death here , it is beyond the physical death; we are talking about your losing your relationship with God now and eternally if you die in sins! Is this enough exchange for that which you've refused to surrender?
The Word to save you is within you. It is not something you need to research on or take a course in. God asks you to surrender to Him and His Word. The offer you're receiving from the world that you love might be attractive, wise , beautiful but it is a trap to expunge you from the Garden of Eden! How long will you linger listening to the enemy of your life? Open your eyes child, reject that offer and receive the gift of God which gives eternal life. Choose this day to serve God.
