THE CALL TO PERSEVERE IN THE TRUTH. Revelation 2 [KJV] [vs: 25] But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. This verse contains a solemn instruction to  faithful believers not only in thyatira but tthrough out the church age, those who have received salvation through faith in Christ and  desire to be  to be faithful to Him must  guide what they have received and refuse to surrender the truth for the sake of  deceptive teachings. 1-we must persevere in the truth we have already received no matter the  new doctrines springing up these last days. 2-our perseverance must continue untill Christ comes, our Christian  journey is a race that must be run until the finishing line,we must therefore continue in faith, obedience , holiness and steadfastness until the rapture or we are called home through death.
