INTRODUCTION
"If God were to depend on the good works of Israel to preserve them as a nation, they probably would have gone into extinction like their contemporaries. But they survived Pharaoh, Nebuchadnezzar, Haman, Sennacherib, Nero, Adolf Hitler, and the Arabs. They will survive all their opponents till Jesus returns!"
Beloved, have you ever wondered why Israel still exists? Babylon is gone. Moab is gone. Ammon is gone. Edom is gone. Assyria is gone. The great empires of antiquity have all crumbled into dust. But Israel—tiny, despised, persecuted Israel—still stands. Why?
The Jews are not the best-mannered or most character-bred people of this world. Abraham himself messed up several times. He lied about the status of his wife, calling her his sister to save his own skin from the Egyptians—and probably to use her beauty to get favors during hard famine times (Genesis 12:10-20; Genesis 20:1-18).
Again, Abraham slept with Hagar and produced Ishmael outside God's covenant boundaries (Genesis 16:1-4). As if that wasn't enough, he went for Keturah immediately after Sarah's death! (Genesis 25:1-2).
So, if the status of the father of multitudes was to be granted based on moral qualifications, Abraham would have failed woefully. But this man, with all his moral flaws, is still the father of our faith—whose righteousness was measured by faith, not works. The Scripture declares: "For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness" (Romans 4:3). Again: "Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed" (Romans 4:16). And again: "Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified" (Galatians 2:16).
He founded a nation—Israel—patterned after God's visionary order (Genesis 12:1-3; Hebrews 11:8-10). And that nation's strength was not in its morality but in a covenant of righteousness and salvation based on faith, grace, mercy, and everlasting kindness. "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us" (Titus 3:5). "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9).
If God were to depend on the good works of Israel to preserve them as a nation, they probably would have gone into extinction like their contemporaries we've listed. But they survived Pharaoh, Nebuchadnezzar, Haman, Sennacherib, Nero, Adolf Hitler, and the Arabs during the miraculous Six-Day War—a war military historians still can't understand till date! They survived Osama Bin Laden, Yahya Sinwar, Ali Khamenei, and guess what? They will survive all their opponents, including Iran, Turkey, Russia, China, South Africa, and every other antisemitic nation till Jesus returns!
No one has ever fought the Jews and succeeded—history can prove that anyways. Why? Because theirs was a nation founded on a godly covenant, even that of everlasting kindness and mercy (Isaiah 54:7-10; Jeremiah 31:3). Surely, nothing else could have qualified them for survival and existence other than a league with God that's not based on their good works, but on grace, mercy, faith, and everlasting kindness!
For those who trust in their self-righteousness, you have a lot to learn from the history of the Jewish nation: By strength shall not man prevail! (1 Samuel 2:9). The arms of flesh could have failed them woefully. Their collective national morality wasn't enough to qualify them to stand before God. Yes, even when Jesus Christ appeared, they rejected Him outrightly (John 1:11; Mark 6:1-6). Yet Paul exclaimed, "And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob" (Romans 11:26). He further explained that the falling of the Jews implies the rising of the Gentiles: "Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?" (Romans 11:12). Again: "For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in" (Romans 11:25).

EXPLORING THE STRENGTH OF ISRAEL
The Strength of an Unconditional Covenant
Israel's strength is not in their morality but in their covenant. God made an unconditional covenant with Abraham—a covenant that depended not on Abraham's performance but on God's faithfulness. "And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee" (Genesis 17:7). This covenant was sealed by God alone, as symbolized by the smoking furnace and burning lamp passing between the pieces (Genesis 15:17). It was a covenant of grace, not works. Israel survives because God is faithful, not because Israel is righteous.

The Strength of Everlasting Kindness and Mercy
God's love for Israel is not based on their performance. It is everlasting. "The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee" (Jeremiah 31:3). Even when they sinned, God's mercy endured. The Strength of God's Unbreakable Promises

The Strength of Divine Preservation Through Persecution
Israel survives because God preserves them through persecution, not despite it. Every attempt to destroy them has failed. Pharaoh tried to kill the male children, but Moses survived (Exodus 1:15-2:10). Haman plotted to annihilate the Jews, but God turned the tables (Esther 9:1-5). Sennacherib besieged Jerusalem, but the angel of the LORD destroyed his army (Isaiah 37:36). Hitler murdered six million Jews, but the nation was reborn in 1948. The Strength of God's Redemptive Plan for All Nations
Israel survives because they are central to God's plan of redemption for the whole world. Through Israel came the Messiah, the Saviour of the world. Through Israel came the Scriptures, the covenants, and the promises. And through Israel, God will ultimately bless all nations. "And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob" (Romans 11:26). The blindness of Israel is temporary—until the fullness of the Gentiles comes in. Then the Deliverer will come, and Israel will be restored. Israel's strength is rooted in their role in God's redemptive plan!

Covenant is stronger than character. Israel survives not because they are righteous, but because God is faithful. "For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance" (Romans 11:29).

The strength of Israel is not in their morality. It is in their covenant. Abraham lied, doubted, and sinned—yet he was called the father of faith. Israel rebelled, worshipped idols, and rejected their Messiah—yet they are still God's chosen people. Why? Because their strength is not in their performance but in God's grace. Their survival is not because they deserve it but because God is faithful. Their endurance is not because they are righteous but because God's mercy is everlasting. "By strength shall not man prevail" (1 Samuel 2:9). This is the lesson for all who trust in self-righteousness. You cannot earn God's love, and you cannot lose it. You can only receive it by faith. Israel survives because God's covenant is unconditional, His mercy is everlasting, His promises are unbreakable, His preservation is divine, His election is sovereign, His faithfulness is rooted in His own character, and His redemptive plan includes all nations. INTRODUCTION
"If God were to depend on the good works of Israel to preserve them as a nation, they probably would have gone into extinction like their contemporaries. But they survived Pharaoh, Nebuchadnezzar, Haman, Sennacherib, Nero, Adolf Hitler, and the Arabs. They will survive all their opponents till Jesus returns!" 🔥🔥🔥
Beloved, have you ever wondered why Israel still exists? Babylon is gone. Moab is gone. Ammon is gone. Edom is gone. Assyria is gone. The great empires of antiquity have all crumbled into dust. But Israel—tiny, despised, persecuted Israel—still stands. Why? 🤔
The Jews are not the best-mannered or most character-bred people of this world. Abraham himself messed up several times. He lied about the status of his wife, calling her his sister to save his own skin from the Egyptians—and probably to use her beauty to get favors during hard famine times (Genesis 12:10-20; Genesis 20:1-18). 😂
Again, Abraham slept with Hagar and produced Ishmael outside God's covenant boundaries (Genesis 16:1-4). As if that wasn't enough, he went for Keturah immediately after Sarah's death! (Genesis 25:1-2). 😆🤣
So, if the status of the father of multitudes was to be granted based on moral qualifications, Abraham would have failed woefully. But this man, with all his moral flaws, is still the father of our faith—whose righteousness was measured by faith, not works. The Scripture declares: "For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness" (Romans 4:3). Again: "Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed" (Romans 4:16). And again: "Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified" (Galatians 2:16). 📖
He founded a nation—Israel—patterned after God's visionary order (Genesis 12:1-3; Hebrews 11:8-10). And that nation's strength was not in its morality but in a covenant of righteousness and salvation based on faith, grace, mercy, and everlasting kindness. "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us" (Titus 3:5). "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9). 🔥

They survived Osama Bin Laden, Yahya Sinwar, Ali Khamenei, and guess what? They will survive all their opponents, including Iran, Turkey, Russia, China, South Africa, and every other antisemitic nation till Jesus returns! 🔥🔥
No one has ever fought the Jews and succeeded—history can prove that anyways. Why? Because theirs was a nation founded on a godly covenant, even that of everlasting kindness and mercy (Isaiah 54:7-10; Jeremiah 31:3). Surely, nothing else could have qualified them for survival and existence other than a league with God that's not based on their good works, but on grace, mercy, faith, and everlasting kindness! 💪
For those who trust in their self-righteousness, you have a lot to learn from the history of the Jewish nation: By strength shall not man prevail! (1 Samuel 2:9). The arms of flesh could have failed them woefully. Their collective national morality wasn't enough to qualify them to stand before God. Yes, even when Jesus Christ appeared, they rejected Him outrightly (John 1:11; Mark 6:1-6). Yet Paul exclaimed, "And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob" (Romans 11:26). He further explained that the falling of the Jews implies the rising of the Gentiles: "Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?" (Romans 11:12). Again: "For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in" (Romans 11:25). 🔥
