If you don't know where you're going, others who will put fuel (food) in your engine (stomach) will obligatorily drag you to where they themselves are heading—and at least, you can help them shine their shoes or clean their toilets! 😂🔥🔥 Human nature and tendency for slavery? 🤷 It can go unabated and untamed. In fact, slavery itself is one of the oldest institutions. Abraham had slaves described as "the souls that they had gotten in Haran" (Genesis 12:5) . He owned them and even had servants born in his house (Genesis 14:14) . But God's laws provided for their release after six years—yet human nature resisted (Jeremiah 34:8-11) . The Almighty God ordered freedom for slaves after seven years, but as human nature will have it—like a typical man will do—those guys forcefully brought back and enslaved those they once freed after seven years! 😂😆🤣 You need more details? It can come via infatuations and sex, desire for power and publicity, fear of insecurities or being left behind, and what have you. I've seen men old enough to be founders of homes and industries following one person whose source of financial, economic, and even political power they can't trace. Provided he is rich, he is our leader—you get? Even if he demands we pluck out our eyes or sacrifice our kidneys to have food on our tables, why not? 🤷😂😆🤣 That's how silly our poverty-stricken society has deteriorated into. Some have no dream, no vision, no ambition, no purpose, and no well-defined destiny at all—only to lick the buttocks of one local politician, doing body body for them in exchange for peanuts that can't afford anything. You know them, right? 🤷😂 Those guys that used to snatch ballot boxes and ran into bushes during elections? 🤷😂😆🤣 I once lived where most of them stay in Ewet Housing, and I can tell you what they do: lift heavy stones daily, walk out daily, drive some cars supplied by the "Honorables" around town, pick some foolish pretty girls to the general compound and sleep with them, eat free food available in the compound supplied by "Honorable," sleep and wake up, play "draft," drink and watch football—and the pattern continues! 😂🔥 Mind you, these are men old enough to think for themselves. Let us explore the realities of modern-day slavery! 👇🏾 --- THE REALITIES OF MODERN-DAY SLAVERY The Global Scale of the Chains Modern slavery is not a relic of the past. According to the United Nations Development Programme, an estimated 50 million people live in modern slavery worldwide, including 27.6 million in forced labour. These abuses generate $236 billion in illegal profits annually. The 2023 Global Slavery Index reported that the situation has worsened since its last survey, with 10 million more people in modern slavery than in 2016. This is not a distant statistic. One in every 150 people on Earth is in modern slavery—a neighbor, a classmate, a worker behind the products we buy. More than half of all forced labour happens in upper-middle and high-income countries, not somewhere else. Asia and the Pacific is home to more than half of the world's modern slavery—an estimated 29.3 million people. The Geography of Bondage The countries with the highest prevalence of modern slavery share common characteristics: limited protections for civil liberties and human rights, volatile regions, conflict, and vulnerable populations. North Korea has the highest prevalence (104.6 per 1,000 population), followed by Eritrea (90.3) and Mauritania (32). Also in the top 10 are Arab Gulf states where migrant workers' labour rights are restricted by the kafala sponsorship system, as well as Turkey, Tajikistan, Russia, and Afghanistan. The Spiritual Roots of Enslavement From the beginning, God gave man dominion over nature, not over fellow man. "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth" (Genesis 1:26). Man was made to rule over creation—not to enslave his brother. ✊ Yet human nature perverted this. When God gave laws to Israel, He commanded: "And if thy brother, an Hebrew man, or an Hebrew woman, be sold unto thee, and serve thee six years; then in the seventh year thou shalt let him go free from thee. And when thou sendest him out free from thee, thou shalt not let him go away empty" (Deuteronomy 15:12-13) . God commanded not just freedom—but liberal provision for the freed! Yet the people of Jeremiah's day brought them back into subjection (Jeremiah 34:11) . The Difference Between Service and Slavery The etymological roots reveal a profound distinction. The word slavery comes from slave + -ery, meaning "state of servitude, condition of a slave, entire subjection to the will and commands of another" . The word service comes from the Latin servitium, meaning "slavery, condition of a slave"—but also "service at table; Mass, church ceremony" . Service is voluntary, dignified, and honorable. Slavery is forced, degrading, and dehumanizing. Jesus declared: "Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed" (John 8:34-36) . True freedom is found in Christ alone! 🕊️ The Contemporary Faces of Bondage Modern slavery wears many masks. It is the young man in Ewet Housing lifting stones for a politician who will discard him tomorrow. It is the woman trapped in a marriage that is a prison of fear. It is the worker whose passport is seized by an employer. It is the child forced to beg on the streets. It is the scam factory victim in Asia, lured by promises of a better life. The prophet Jeremiah warned: "Woe unto him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by wrong; that useth his neighbour's service without wages, and giveth him not for his work" (Jeremiah 22:13). God sees every unpaid wage, every stolen dream, every crushed destiny! 😭 The Way Out The path to freedom begins with a decision. You must know where you're going—otherwise, anyone who offers fuel for your engine will drag you to their destination. You must value your destiny more than your dinner. You must resist the comfortable chains that promise security but deliver slavery. Jesus said: "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon" (Matthew 6:24). You cannot serve both your own God-given purpose and another man's selfish ambition. Choose freedom! 🔥 --- WISDOM NOTES 📖 Modern slavery is real and growing. 50 million people are trapped today, generating $236 billion in illegal profits annually. This is not a distant problem—it is a present evil. 😭 📖 Human nature resists freedom for others. Pharaoh said, "Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?" (Exodus 14:5). They will survive all their opponents till Jesus returns!" 🔥🔥🔥 Beloved, have you ever wondered why Israel still exists? Babylon is gone. Moab is gone. Ammon is gone. Edom is gone. Assyria is gone. The great empires of antiquity have all crumbled into dust. But Israel—tiny, despised, persecuted Israel—still stands. Why? 🤔 The Jews are not the best-mannered or most character-bred people of this world. Abraham himself messed up several times. He lied about the status of his wife, calling her his sister to save his own skin from the Egyptians—and probably to use her beauty to get favors during hard famine times (Genesis 12:10-20; Genesis 20:1-18). 😂 Again, Abraham slept with Hagar and produced Ishmael outside God's covenant boundaries (Genesis 16:1-4). As if that wasn't enough, he went for Keturah immediately after Sarah's death! (Genesis 25:1-2). 😆🤣 So, if the status of the father of multitudes was to be granted based on moral qualifications, Abraham would have failed woefully. But this man, with all his moral flaws, is still the father of our faith—whose righteousness was measured by faith, not works. The Scripture declares: "For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness" (Romans 4:3). Again: "Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed" (Romans 4:16). And again: "Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified" (Galatians 2:16). 📖 He founded a nation—Israel—patterned after God's visionary order (Genesis 12:1-3; Hebrews 11:8-10). And that nation's strength was not in its morality but in a covenant of righteousness and salvation based on faith, grace, mercy, and everlasting kindness. "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us" (Titus 3:5). "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9). 🔥 If God were to depend on the good works of Israel to preserve them as a nation, they probably would have gone into extinction like their contemporaries we've listed. But they survived Pharaoh, Nebuchadnezzar, Haman, Sennacherib, Nero, Adolf Hitler, and the Arabs during the miraculous Six-Day War—a war military historians still can't understand till date! They survived Osama Bin Laden, Yahya Sinwar, Ali Khamenei, and guess what? They will survive all their opponents, including Iran, Turkey, Russia, China, South Africa, and every other antisemitic nation till Jesus returns! 🔥🔥 No one has ever fought the Jews and succeeded—history can prove that anyways. Why? Because theirs was a nation founded on a godly covenant, even that of everlasting kindness and mercy (Isaiah 54:7-10; Jeremiah 31:3). Surely, nothing else could have qualified them for survival and existence other than a league with God that's not based on their good works, but on grace, mercy, faith, and everlasting kindness! 💪 For those who trust in their self-righteousness, you have a lot to learn from the history of the Jewish nation: By strength shall not man prevail! (1 Samuel 2:9). The arms of flesh could have failed them woefully. Their collective national morality wasn't enough to qualify them to stand before God. Yes, even when Jesus Christ appeared, they rejected Him outrightly (John 1:11; Mark 6:1-6). Yet Paul exclaimed, "And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob" (Romans 11:26). He further explained that the falling of the Jews implies the rising of the Gentiles: "Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?" (Romans 11:12). Again: "For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in" (Romans 11:25). 🔥 Let us explore why Israel is strong and enduring as a nation despite their moral flaws and spiritual decline! 👇🏾 --- EXPLORING THE STRENGTH OF ISRAEL The Strength of an Unconditional Covenant Israel's strength is not in their morality but in their covenant. God made an unconditional covenant with Abraham—a covenant that depended not on Abraham's performance but on God's faithfulness. "And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee" (Genesis 17:7). This covenant was sealed by God alone, as symbolized by the smoking furnace and burning lamp passing between the pieces (Genesis 15:17). It was a covenant of grace, not works. Even when they sinned, God's mercy endured. "For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee" (Isaiah 54:10). Israel survives because God's mercy is everlasting, not because Israel deserves it. 🕊️ "It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness." — Lamentations 3:22-23 (KJV) "Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy." — Micah 7:18 (KJV) "But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children." — Psalm 103:17 (KJV) --- The Strength of God's Unbreakable Promises God's promises to Israel are irrevocable. "For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance" (Romans 11:29). What God promised, He will perform. "Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night... If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever" (Jeremiah 31:35-36). Israel survives because God's Word cannot fail. Every attempt to destroy them has failed. Pharaoh tried to kill the male children, but Moses survived (Exodus 1:15-2:10). Haman plotted to annihilate the Jews, but God turned the tables (Esther 9:1-5). Sennacherib besieged Jerusalem, but the angel of the LORD destroyed his army (Isaiah 37:36). Hitler murdered six million Jews, but the nation was reborn in 1948. Iran, Turkey, and Russia may threaten, but God declares: "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper" (Isaiah 54:17). Israel survives because God fights for them! ⚔️ "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about... Not because they were greater or more righteous than others, but because God chose to love them. "The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people: But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers" (Deuteronomy 7:7-8). Election is not based on merit; it is based on God's sovereign choice. That is why Israel endures. 🏆 "For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth." — Deuteronomy 7:6 (KJV) "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people." — 1 Peter 2:9 (KJV) "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love." — Ephesians 1:4 (KJV) --- The Strength of God's Faithfulness to His Own Character God's name is at stake in Israel's preservation. If God abandoned Israel, He would be a liar. But God cannot lie. "If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself" (2 Timothy 2:13). Israel survives because God must remain true to His own character. He promised, and He will perform. "God is not a man, that he should lie" (Numbers 23:19). God's faithfulness to Israel is not about Israel—it is about God's faithfulness to Himself! 🙌 "And the LORD said, I have pardoned according to thy word: But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD." — Numbers 14:20-21 (KJV) "For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another." — Isaiah 48:11 (KJV) "For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name's sake: because it hath pleased the LORD to make you his people." — 1 Samuel 12:22 (KJV) --- The Strength of God's Redemptive Plan for All Nations Israel survives because they are central to God's plan of redemption for the whole world. Through Israel came the Messiah, the Saviour of the world. Through Israel came the Scriptures, the covenants, and the promises. And through Israel, God will ultimately bless all nations. "And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob" (Romans 11:26). The blindness of Israel is temporary—until the fullness of the Gentiles comes in. Then the Deliverer will come, and Israel will be restored. Abraham lied, doubted, and sinned—yet he was called the father of faith. Israel rebelled, worshipped idols, and rejected their Messiah—yet they are still God's chosen people. Why? Because their strength is not in their performance but in God's grace. Their survival is not because they deserve it but because God is faithful. Their endurance is not because they are righteous but because God's mercy is everlasting. "By strength shall not man prevail" (1 Samuel 2:9). This is the lesson for all who trust in self-righteousness. You cannot earn God's love, and you cannot lose it. You can only receive it by faith. Israel survives because God's covenant is unconditional, His mercy is everlasting, His promises are unbreakable, His preservation is divine, His election is sovereign, His faithfulness is rooted in His own character, and His redemptive plan includes all nations. Not a psalm from David. A poem from a man named Karl Marx, written in 1841, when he was just twenty-two years old. This was years before he wrote the Communist Manifesto. But listen to the words that came from his pen, long before he became the “father of communism” . “The Player” by Karl Marx : Look now, my blood-dark sword shall stab Unerringly within thy soul. God neither knows nor honors art. The hellish vapors rise and fill the brain, Till I go mad and my heart is utterly changed. See this sword? The Prince of Darkness sold it to me. For me he beats the time and gives the signs. Ever more boldly I play the dance of death. I must play darkly, I must play lightly, Until my heart and my violin burst. You get that? 🤷😂 A young man, barely out of his teens, writing about a sword sold to him by the Prince of Darkness. Writing about playing the dance of death. Writing about his heart being utterly changed by hellish vapors. Now, don’t tell me this was just “poetic creativity.” Don’t tell me this was just “literary imagination.” The Bible says: “For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh” (Matthew 12:34). What was in Karl Marx’s heart that made him write such things? What spirit was guiding his pen? The book “Marx and Moody” by Erwin Lutzer and Dr. Gregg Quiggle tells the story of two men who lived at the same time, in the same century, seeing the same broken world . Karl Marx and Dwight L. Moody. Two contemporaries. Two gospels. Two tombstones. One looked at the suffering of humanity and said, “Revolution!” The other said, “Redemption!” One sought to liberate people but ultimately enslaved them. The other preached forgiveness and set people free . And here’s the shocking part: Marx’s own father and mother were concerned about their son. His father wrote letters expressing concern about what he saw as his son’s “demons” . His mother reportedly wondered whether his demon was heavenly or Faustian . Even his own family could see something dark in him! Dwight L. Moody, on the other hand, was a poor boy who gave up his lucrative shoe business to preach the Gospel . He built schools, churches, and ministries that still exist today. He didn’t write about swords from the Prince of Darkness. He wrote about the love of God. So, let me ask you: Can we truly say Karl Marx was inspired by God? I bet you NO! Let’s open our Bibles and see why. --- MARXISM: THE UNDISPUTED DARKNESS OF THE CENTURIES The Sword from the Prince of Darkness Marx’s poem says: “See this sword? The Prince of Darkness sold it to me.” Who is the Prince of Darkness? Jesus called Satan “the prince of this world” (John 12:31). Paul called him “the prince of the power of the air” (Ephesians 2:2). Marx wasn’t just writing poetry. He was writing autobiography of the spirit. He received his “sword”—his philosophy, his ideology—from the enemy of God. And that sword was meant to stab souls, not save them. Jesus said: “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy” (John 10:10). That is exactly what Marxism has done to billions of people for over a century. The Dance of Death Marx wrote: “Ever more boldly I play the dance of death.” The “dance of death” is a medieval concept—a dance where people are led to their graves. And that is exactly what Marxism became: a dance that led millions to their graves. Historians estimate that communist regimes killed over 100 million people in the 20th century alone. The Soviet Union, Mao’s China, Pol Pot’s Cambodia—all built on the foundation of Marx’s ideas. The sword from the Prince of Darkness did exactly what it was designed to do: stab souls, destroy lives, and fill the earth with graves. “God Neither Knows Nor Honors Art” Marx wrote: “God neither knows nor honors art.” This is the heart of atheism. Marx is saying God doesn’t care about human creativity, human expression, human beauty. But the Bible says the opposite! God is the Creator! He made us in His image to create! “And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good” (Genesis 1:31). Marx’s philosophy was not just anti-religious. It was anti-God at the deepest level. The Hellish Vapors Marx wrote: “The hellish vapors rise and fill the brain, till I go mad.” Marx is describing a spiritual condition—a mind darkened by demonic influence. Paul warned: “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted” (2 Corinthians 11:3). Marxism is not just a political theory. It is a spiritual corruption that darkens the mind and blinds the soul. The Attack on God’s Order Marx’s philosophy attacked the foundational institutions of God: the family, the church, and private property. The Communist Manifesto called for the abolition of the family. It called for the abolition of religion. It called for the abolition of all private property. But God established the family (Genesis 2:24). God established His Church (Matthew 16:18). God blessed the concept of private ownership (Exodus 20:15). Marxism declared war on all of it. The Fruits of the Darkness Look at the nations that followed Marxism. Russia became the Soviet Union—a nation that persecuted Christians, destroyed churches, and killed pastors. China turned to communism under Mao—and millions died in the Great Leap Forward and the Cultural Revolution. Cambodia under Pol Pot—two million people killed in the killing fields. North Korea—one of the most oppressive regimes on earth. Wherever Marxism went, darkness followed. Wherever the sword from the Prince of Darkness was wielded, blood flowed. Two Men, Two Gospels, Two Destinies The book “Marx and Moody” puts it clearly: “Two different belief systems. Two different legacies. Two different destinies. Two very different eternities.” Karl Marx’s tombstone is in Highgate Cemetery in London. It bears the words: “Workers of all lands unite.” But his legacy is a legacy of death, oppression, and spiritual darkness. Dwight L. Moody’s legacy is different. He founded the Moody Bible Institute . He built churches, schools, and ministries that still exist today. He preached the Gospel to millions. His tombstone speaks of faith, hope, and redemption. One served the Prince of Darkness. The other served the Prince of Peace. And their legacies reveal which master they truly served. The Modern Revival of an Ancient Darkness Today, Marxist ideas are resurfacing all over the world—even in America. The book “Marx and Moody” warns that “Marxist ideas are surfacing all over the world, infiltrating even the most unlikely places” . Critical theory, identity politics, and calls for “social justice” often carry the seeds of Marxist ideology. And Christians must be awake to this danger. --- WISDOM NOTES 📖 Words reveal the spirit behind them. Marx’s poem wasn’t just poetry. It was prophecy. “For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh” (Matthew 12:34). His words revealed the darkness within. 📖 The sword from the Prince of Darkness is a real weapon. Marx received his philosophy from Satan. Marx promised liberation but brought bondage. Christ offers freedom that is real. “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” (John 8:36). --- FINAL THOUGHTS Karl Marx wasn’t inspired by God. He was inspired by the Prince of Darkness. His own poem says it plainly. His own family feared it. The fruits of his ideology prove it. The sword he received from the Prince of Darkness has stabbed souls, destroyed families, and filled the earth with graves. But Jesus Christ came to give life, and to give it more abundantly. Marx and Moody lived at the same time, in the same world, seeing the same suffering. One chose revolution; the other chose redemption. One left a legacy of death; the other left a legacy of life. The question is not just about history. The question is about you. Which sword will you carry? Which dance will you dance? The dance of death from the Prince of Darkness, or the dance of life from the Prince of Peace? Choose wisely. The music is playing. The dance is on. Whatever catches your attention or tickles your fancies automatically becomes your living realities." 🔥😭 Beloved, there exists a spiritual principle woven into the fabric of creation—a law that governs how humans interact with the spiritual realm and how their experiences are shaped by their choices, emotions, and focus. This is THE LAWS OF APPEAL—the principle that whatever you give your attention to, whatever you fantasize about, whatever you serve, you attract into your life. 💫 The Apostle Peter declared: "For of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage" (2 Peter 2:19). This is not just a statement about sin—it is a profound spiritual law. Whatever overcomes you—whether good or evil—becomes your master, your reality, your experience. 😤 Paul understood this when he appealed to Caesar in Acts 25:11. He declared his innocence and exercised his right to appeal to a higher authority—not because he was entitled, but because he knew that the one you appeal to is the one who has jurisdiction over your case. In the spiritual realm, your appeal determines your outcome! ⚖️ The Galatians fell into bondage again because they turned back to "weak and beggarly elements" —observing days, months, times, and years (Galatians 4:9-10). They were appealing to the wrong sources, and it brought them into captivity. 🚫 Now, every now and then, over 6 million Indians head to the Ganges River to venerate the Hindu deity of that river—and before we know what's going on, heavy floods sweep off their cities, destroying lives and properties! They've been visiting the river, so it's proportional if the river visits them anyways! 😂🔥 They appeal to the river, and the river responds. This is the law of call and response in action. Solomon understood it better when he said: "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life" (Proverbs 4:23). Your heart—your emotions, your desires, your focus—is the control center of your life. What you treasure, you attract. What you fear, you attract. What you serve, you attract. ❤️ The blood of the children sacrificed to Molech in the valley of Hinnom called for judgment, and God declared that the valley would become the valley of slaughter (Jeremiah 7:31-34). Blood calls for more blood. Light begets light. Righteousness produces more righteousness. A child of peace attracts peace. ⚔️ David's generation suffered famine for three years because of Saul's sin against the Gibeonites (2 Samuel 21:1-9). The Gibeonites appealed for justice, and the blood of the slain called out from the ground. The law of appeal is inescapable: your actions, your choices, your focus—they all have consequences. 😭 Jesus declared: "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you" (Matthew 7:7). This is the positive side of the law of appeal: when you ask, you attract the answer. When you seek, you attract the finding. When you knock, you attract the opening. 🔑 Greater percentage of our experiences are self-instigated—whether good or bad, beautiful or ugly. Your thoughts, emotions, words, and actions are spiritual magnets drawing corresponding realities into your life. 🤯 Let us explore the realities of the laws of appeal! 👇🏾 --- THE REALITIES OF THE LAWS OF APPEAL The foundational reality of the laws of appeal is the principle of call and response. When you call, something responds. When you worship, you attract what you worship. When you fear, you attract what you fear. The Apostle Paul declared: "For of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage" (2 Peter 2:19). Whatever you give yourself to—whether good or evil—will ultimately take control of you. This is why James warned: "But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death" (James 1:14-15). Your desires are spiritual magnets. What you lust after, you attract. What you entertain, you eventually embrace. What you embrace, you ultimately become. Paul's warning is clear: "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap" (Galatians 6:7). 🌾 Paul's appeal to Caesar in Acts 25:11 reveals another profound reality: the one you appeal to is the one who has jurisdiction over your life. Paul declared his innocence and exercised his right to appeal to a higher authority. He knew that his appeal would determine his outcome. In the spiritual realm, this is equally true. When you appeal to the world, the world rules you. When you appeal to Christ, He rules you. The person you run to in trouble is the one who has power over your destiny. The writer of Hebrews warns: "See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven" (Hebrews 12:25). Your appeal determines your jurisdiction. If you run to God, He has authority over your case. If you run to the world, the world becomes your judge. But Peter encourages: "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time" (1 Peter 5:6). Who are you appealing to? 🤔 The Galatians had known the truth but turned back to observing days, months, times, and years. Paul asked: "But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?" (Galatians 4:9). They were appealing to weak and beggarly elements—trying to earn their salvation through religious observances. This is a trap that keeps believers in bondage. Paul instructed: "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage" (Galatians 5:1). And he warned: "Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace" (Galatians 5:4). When you appeal to weak and beggarly elements, you forfeit the power of grace. The reality is: your appeal determines the source of your strength. If you appeal to creation, you get created things. If you appeal to the Creator, you get divine power. 🔥 What you serve becomes your master. Paul declared: "Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?" (Romans 6:16). If you serve sin, sin becomes your master. If you serve righteousness, righteousness becomes your master. The law of appeal is a law of harvest: you reap what you sow. Paul continued: "But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life" (Romans 6:22). What do you spend most of your time serving? That is what will have authority over your life. The reality of the laws of appeal is that your service determines your destiny. What you feed grows. What you starve dies. What you serve becomes your master. 😤 The blood of innocent children sacrificed to Molech cried out to God, and judgment followed. Jeremiah declared: "And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart. Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be called Tophet... but the valley of slaughter" (Jeremiah 7:31-32). Blood calls for more blood. When you shed innocent blood—even through your words, curses, or actions—you activate spiritual laws that demand justice. The writer of Hebrews declares: "And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel" (Hebrews 12:24). The blood of Jesus speaks mercy over judgment. The blood of Abel cried for vengeance; the blood of Jesus cries for forgiveness. The reality is: the blood you appeal to determines the response you receive. Appeal to the blood of Jesus, and mercy flows. Appeal to the blood of vengeance, and judgment flows. 💉 Saul's sin against the Gibeonites—a people who had a covenant with Israel—brought famine upon the land three generations later. David inquired of the Lord, and the Lord answered: "It is for Saul, and for his bloody house, because he slew the Gibeonites" (2 Samuel 21:1). The choices of one generation affect the next. When you break covenants, you invite judgment that can last for years. The Gibeonites had been wronged for generations. Justice demanded reparation. Ezekiel declared: "The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge" (Ezekiel 18:2). Yet the same chapter declares individual responsibility: "The soul that sinneth, it shall die" (Ezekiel 18:20). The reality is that while you are not personally responsible for your ancestors' sins, you can still suffer the consequences of their actions. The law of appeal operates across generations. What was planted by one generation is harvested by another. 😭 Finally, Jesus declared: "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you" (Matthew 7:7). The law of attraction is rooted in scripture: your focus determines your reality. David wrote: "Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart" (Psalm 37:4). When you delight in God, your desires align with His—and what you desire, you attract. Jesus promised: "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you" (John 15:7). And again: "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive" (Matthew 21:22). The reality is: your appeal determines your answer. What are you asking for? What are you seeking? What door are you knocking on? 🚪 --- WISDOM NOTES 📖 What you serve becomes your master. "For of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage" (2 Peter 2:19). Choose your master wisely! 🔥 📖 Your appeal determines your outcome. Paul appealed to Caesar, and Caesar ruled his case. Who do you appeal to in your troubles? ⚖️ 📖 Weak and beggarly elements cannot save. Observing days, months, and times cannot bring freedom—only Christ can (Galatians 4:9-10). 🚫 📖 Blood calls for more blood. "The blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel" (Hebrews 12:24). The blood of Jesus speaks mercy over judgment! 💉 📖 Generational consequences are real. Saul's sin affected David's generation (2 Samuel 21:1). Break covenants before they break you! ⚔️ 📖 Your heart is your control center. "Keep thy heart with all diligence" (Proverbs 4:23). Guard what you treasure, for you attract what you treasure! ❤️ 📖 Ask, seek, knock—and you shall receive. The law of attraction has a spiritual dimension: what you pursue, you will find (Matthew 7:7). 🧲 --- FINAL THOUGHTS The laws of appeal are woven into the fabric of creation. Whatever you fantasize, you attract. Whatever catches your attention or tickles your fancies automatically becomes your living realities. From Paul's appeal to Caesar to the Galatians' bondage to weak elements, from the blood of the valley of Hinnom to the famine in David's generation—the pattern is clear: you attract what you serve, what you focus on, and what you appeal to. The Ganges River worshippers appeal to the river, and the river responds. The Gibeonites' blood appealed for justice, and justice came. But there is good news: you can choose what you appeal to! Appeal to Jesus Christ, and He will set you free. Appeal to righteousness, and it will become your reality. Appeal to the Kingdom of God, and it will be added unto you. What are you attracting? What are you appealing to? Choose wisely—because your appeal determines your destiny! 🔥🙌 --- PRAYER LINES 🗣️ Father, I appeal to You and to You alone. Let my appeal reach Your throne and bring me justice and mercy. (Acts 25:11) 🙏 🗣️ Lord, deliver me from weak and beggarly elements that seek to keep me in bondage. (1 Chronicles 12:32). 🔥 Kingdom influence requires both spiritual depth and practical wisdom. 🔥 The goal is not merely to survive difficult environments but to become salt and light within them. "Ye are the salt of the earth... Ye are the light of the world." (Matthew 5:13–14). FINAL THOUGHTS🤔🧠 The Christian life is neither an escape from society nor surrender to it. Christ calls His followers to engage the world with wisdom, integrity, courage, and compassion. Jesus declared, "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God..." (John 17:3). There is a vast difference between hearing testimonies and becoming a testimony. Job confessed, "I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee." (Job 42:5). His theology became an encounter; his information became revelation; his religion became relationship. Christianity was never designed to be sustained by inherited stories alone. The apostles proclaimed what they had personally seen, handled, and experienced concerning Christ. "That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you." (1 John 1:1–3). God is not merely a historical figure to be discussed but a present reality to be encountered. The Gospel is not merely an announcement; it is a divine invitation into experiential fellowship with the living God. "Taste and see that the LORD is good." (Psalm 34:8). Every generation that changed history first encountered God before confronting the world. Every genuine revival began when ordinary men and women experienced an extraordinary visitation of God. Raw encounters produce transformed lives, burning hearts, unwavering convictions, and irresistible testimonies. THE REALITIES OF RAW ENCOUNTERS, NOT STORIES! 1. Jacob at Peniel: An Encounter That Changed Identity Jacob fled with fear, but he returned with destiny after wrestling with God. "Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel." (Genesis 32:28). One night of divine encounter accomplished what years of human effort could not. Every genuine encounter changes identity before it changes circumstances. 2. Moses and the Seventy Elders: Encounter Beyond Imagination Moses, Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, and seventy elders ascended the mountain and "they saw the God of Israel... also they saw God, and did eat and drink." (Exodus 24:9–11). God proved that He desires fellowship, not mere religious activity. The highest privilege of humanity is not merely serving God but knowing Him intimately. 3. Elijah at Horeb: Discovering God Beyond the Spectacular Running from Jezebel, Elijah expected God in the wind, earthquake, and fire, yet God revealed Himself through a still small voice. (1 Kings 19:11–13). Encounters teach us that God's greatest manifestations are sometimes clothed in divine quietness rather than outward noise. Spiritual maturity recognizes God's whisper as quickly as His thunder. 4. Isaiah in the Temple: One Vision Produced a Lifetime Mission Isaiah saw the Lord high and lifted up while the seraphim cried, "Holy, holy, holy." (Isaiah 6:1–8). The revelation of God's holiness exposed Isaiah's own uncleanness before commissioning him for ministry. (2 Timothy 3:5). 🔥 One genuine encounter with Christ can accomplish what decades of human philosophy cannot. "Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit." (Zechariah 4:6). 🔥 Every revival in Scripture began with men and women who first encountered God before attempting to change society. "Then flew one of the seraphims unto me..." (Isaiah 6:6). 🔥 Your greatest testimony is not what you have heard from others but what God has personally revealed to you. "We cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard." (Acts 4:20). 🔥 God is still looking for seekers, not merely spectators. "Ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13). FINAL THOUGHTS Christianity was never intended to be a museum of ancient stories but a living experience with the resurrected Christ. Job moved from hearing to seeing. Jacob moved from deception to destiny. Moses moved from curiosity to communion. Elijah moved from depression to renewed purpose. Isaiah moved from uncleanness to commission. Paul moved from persecution to proclamation. John moved from exile to eternal revelation. The greatest need of this generation is not another argument about God but another encounter with God. Churches need more than excellent programs; they need His presence. Ministers need more than eloquence; they need fresh fire. Believers need more than religious activities; they need living fellowship with Christ. Until God becomes your personal reality, someone else's testimony will remain your only evidence. But when heaven opens over your life, your language will become that of Job: "I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee." 🙏 PRAYER LINES 🙏 Father, move me from merely hearing about You to personally knowing You through living encounters. (Job 42:5). 🙏 Lord, open the eyes of my understanding that I may behold Your glory afresh. (Ephesians 1:17–18). 🙏 Let every spiritual dryness in my life give way to fresh visitation from Your presence. (Psalm 63:1–2). 🙏 Make me hungry for Your presence more than for religious activities. (Psalm 42:1–2). 🙏 Grant me encounters that will transform my character, my calling, and my destiny. (2 Corinthians 3:18). 🙏 Let my life become a living testimony that points many souls to Christ. (Matthew 5:16). 🙏 May I never settle for stories when You are offering intimacy. Draw me nearer to Yourself each passing day.
