ABIDE IN CHRIST AND BEAR FRUIT

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE

John 15:1–2 (KJV) “I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.”

1. “I AM THE TRUE VINE” — CHRIST IS THE SOURCE

Jesus is the True Vine. We are the branches.

A branch cannot produce fruit by itself. Stay connected to Christ.

2. “BEARETH FRUIT” — SHOW YOUR FAITH

God expects our lives to produce good fruit—love, obedience, kindness, faithfulness and godly character.

Being connected to Jesus should make a difference in how we live.

3. “HE PURGETH IT” — ACCEPT GOD'S CORRECTION

Pruning can be painful, but it removes what is unnecessary so the branch can become more fruitful.

Some things God removes are not punishments; they are preparation for greater fruitfulness.

4. “BRING FORTH MORE FRUIT” — DON'T STOP GROWING

God is not calling you to remain where you are.

Less fruit → fruit → more fruit.

God wants continuous growth in your character, faith and service.

KEY LESSON

1. Stay connected to Christ.
2. Produce godly fruit.
3. Accept God's pruning.
4. Keep growing.

FINAL CHARGE

Stay in the Vine.
Accept the pruning.
Keep growing.
Let your life bear fruit that glorifies God.

SHORT PRAYER

Father, help me remain connected to Christ. Remove everything in my life that prevents fruitfulness, and shape me into a person who bears more good fruit for Your glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.
