READING FOR THE FEAST OF ST. STEPHEN
Behold, I see the heavens opened.
Acts 6:8-10; 7:54-60
Into your hands, O Lord, I commend my spirit.
Ps 31:3c-4.6ab.7b.8a.17.21ab
It is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father!
Mt 10:17-22
In the first reading we must understand that we need to look more closely at Christ, in the psalm we must understand that the fortress of truth is with God, and in the Gospel we must understand that God can speak through us for us.
